The Search for Gold Contest Rules and Scavenger Hunt List

The Rules

1. No Cheating is allowed, if anybody is caught doing so, you shall be disqualified.

2. No swapping team members. Teams are teams. If I find out you are swapping, you shall be disqualified.

3. The list can be done in any order, but each task has a certain amount of points given.

4. You MUST TAKE A SCREENSHOT, FOR IT TO COUNT. If not, it shall not count, if posted you will take a penalty 10 points from your total score. Your Screenshot must include, your teammate's name, map open with the server, and your pirate's name. ( if weapon is drawed this is still accepted.) The screenshot must be shown with defeating the enemy, if one of these requirements is NOT shown, you shall take the 10 point penalty.

5. The list shall be given, but servers will not. Each team shall be given a server, but shall be told the server during the event gathering.

6. Both teammates must be at the event gathering. If not, your team is disqualified immediately.


Note: Hacking, glitching and anything else against the Code, is not permitted. If found doing so, you will be disqualified.

Note: You do not have to complete each task, you may complete any task in any order, but I am only around for a few hours. You can for example, only look for rare bosses and get those points. Or just get all the simple tasks.

1. Defeat 1 Lv. 50 Urchinfist - 10 Points

2. Defeat 1 Lv. 50 Thrall Captain - 10 Points

3. Defeat 1 Seabeard - 10 Points

4. Defeat 1 Molusk - 10 Points

5. Defeat 1 Flotsam - 5 Points

6. Defeat 1 Spineskull - 5 Points

7. Defeat General Darkhart - 15 Points

8. Defeat Devil Root - 20 Points

9. Sink 1 Juggernaut - 15 Points

10. Find and defeat the rare boss, Bowbreaker - 20 Points

11. Find and defeat the rare boss, Edward Lohan - 50 Points

12. Find me with the riddle shown below. - 50 Points

13. Find me with the riddle shown below. - 50 Points

14. Find and defeat the rare boss, Swamp Terror - 50 Points

15. Defeat Neban the Silent - 15 Points

16. Defeat Jolly Roger in an Invasion on your specific server - 100 Points

17. Defeat Timothy Dartan - 15 Points

18. Defeat General Hex - 15 Points

19. Find the rare Officer Boss ON THE BLACK PEARL - 200 Points

20. Sink the Goliath - 25 Points

21. Sink a Ship of the Line ( Not including the Goliath ) - 50 Points

Total - 855 Points

Note: Basics who can not do the black pearl may stand around and wait for the partner to solo it. You may do the black pearl WITH A CREW. Also note that basics who can do the pearl are required to launch and be in the screenshot.

Tie breakers for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be timed on who can find a specific rare boss in a specific server at a later date.

Note: For finding me you must go to another server, you may not look for me for 15 minutes, if I find you, finding me, during the first 15 minutes you will be penaltied 10 points, and not gain the extra points.

You shall post all screenshots on this thread, all posts must be made by Noon, Eastern on Sunday to count. Uploading images into the album shall work, but will take 1-3 days for approval. I shall wait until all screenshots are approved. Other ways are acceptable as well.

Yes, if both aren't in the screenshot, you take a 10 point penalty.
