Personally I love the saber and broadsword. The broadsword can help bank extra rep if you can handle more than 1 enemy at a time. The saber is quick and skills recharge faster. I love the rare unlimited ammo repeaters and blunderbusses. They make big damage. Saw a max use it and it resulted in like 5,000 damage lol.

I just have a thing for sharp objects so swords sabres broadswords daggers any thing with a nice tip to it is good for me!
