Well why don't they just make it so you cant get in the house? Cause this really isn't that fair! Entering someones house that LETS you in then they just hit ya and you get K.O. Its not even a REAL house. The banning thing is a little cruel because you are not doing anything wrong. When it says "Press shift to enter" that is HER problem. Why can't she just LOCK the house. She has the keys. Besides, what could be so bad about entering her house? Maybe it can help us. So just don't come to conclusions like that ok? But Constance is being a little greedy. No reason to Knock us out and get us groggy (wow strong chick lol).

I have officially been said innocent victim of Constance now, (See thread Erie sightings in the Mire http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/f...&postcount=106 ) I can honestly say now I'm really not liking it. In that screenshot you can clearly see how far I am from the house. I have guildmates who were there and back me up that I was only ever polite. She got me I think because she was frustrated that for over 15 minutes people would not stay out of her house. So she just knocked out all of us in range. But notice many are left standing. Off to the left, just past this screenie were several other laid out innocent pirates. It's one thing to target miscreants and disruptors. It's another thing entirely for a GM to take out their frustration on innocents. I just don't thing that's right.

Now I'm not saying a GM should have the patience of a saint or anything like that. They are human, and I get that. But broad spectrum punishing people following all the rules because you're annoyed with the ones who aren't? No. The GM's should have to do it individually. When she got me 10 or more went down at the exact same time. That leaves room for error.

I will freely admit I sent a whisper to Constance, several in fact, not that I expected an answer. I asked what I did wrong, explained that I had only been trying to help calm the crowd, had not been in the house. I told her that I understood she was dealing with a rowdy crowd, but that she had had no call to knock me out. Don't know how much of that she read, or even saw, but I was royally angry at the time.

Funny thing? I remained polite even though I was furious at ending up groggy for no reason. Even as a bystander I was not gonna join the crowd of others who she hit innocently in getting back at her by going in her house to make her angry.

Yes, these guys are human. And that's my point. Human emotion can cause human reactions like lashing out at people not doing anything wrong. If GM's are going to have this power, then it needs to be used on one pirate at a time, not as a group attack.

I never ran into Constance. Couldn't be bothered with standing around the swamp hoping I picked the correct server. But now that it is over, I wonder what was really gained? What did we learn? A name? That there are more random ghosts we may or may not run in to? What else?

I hope this all leads up to a new story chapter, I really do. But right now it just seems like all frosting and no cake.

And The Hawke? Buddy? Don't you think it's time to let this one go? I wouldn't want to be a GM at one of these events for any reason. As a full blown grown up, I wouldn't have the patience.

BTW: Bystanders do not run around trying to calm the crowd and they do not whisper to the GM. They just stand by... Just an observation.

I for one do not believe this is over. The Invasions will continue and we have several GM characters going around at different times now.

We still have the Marceline guild and the EITC Black Gaurd
Constance Sorrow
Captain Rott
Captain Cromwell
Old Sooty

I for one am enjoying this a lot. I keep track of the Eirie thread for new sightings and discussions reagarding the GM Ghosts.

I find it more interesting that she used an area of effect attack on you guys. Must have been really out of hand

Edit: Invasions continued today.

Hawke,

Me hats off to ya for maintaining yourself during this incident. I can see your point and would have to agree. It would solve these issues if the GM was able to knockout one pirate at a time or be able to control the area of effect.

And I would hope that the GM's would take the time to review their chat box contents after an event like this.
