Host GM Phillipe Gaston was fighting alongside us normal pirates during the invasion. While we were not successful, it appeared that all pirates involved had a good time. I am sure that after a few invasions most pirates will have a better game plan. For the pirates that may be experiencing lag issues, all I can suggest is closing ALL other programs and lowering the graphic settings. I am presently running POTCO on an older laptop and did not have much of a lag issue. Was this (1:30pm PDT) the first invasion on Live?

Invasion in 30 minutes! Starting at 1:30pm Pacific (4:30pm Eastern) - and I think it may be across all servers?!?

Quick question:

How are you carrying 250 pistol balls? I am the same level as ye and can hold only 150 even with all pouches.

Hmm, I donno... I've always just had them (its been a long time since I bought the pouches... like over a year and some ago

The best one we discovered on my 2nd attack was to have a high healer stand back 15 paces from 2 attuned attackers (one was using Fire Staff - the other Pistol) - and we took him down... as long as he is under attack he can't get the house - so we did it in two groups of this - and when my group would finally fall I would tonic them while #2 group then hit him with their healer... he never had time to attack the house - he was too busy shooting us with his spells... thats my 2 cents worth

He only attacks the ones attacking him with lighting - and the 15 paces back from the shooters means your healer doesnt take damage

With only 7 of us we took him down (one guy just kept running in like crazy hehe)

Might I suggest using the "Invasion" plan or whatever it is. The other thread to set meet ups an post times of start.

Just finished up an invasion. We lost... but I got 900 rep so I'm happy!

Well, I've gotta say. The Inavsion was an absolute BLAST! Challenging enemies, the thrill of pirates running around fighting the undead masses, huge amounts of pirates yet barely any lag, Jolly Roger himself, getting to fight with a GM..... more than what I expected. I'll break it down for ya.

The best part of my experience was of that I actually got to fight along with the GM. My server's GM was Sandra Tew, by the way. She first showed up at about 20 minutes to the invasion, and told us to be prepared and round up what we needed. She had to go somewhere for a sec, so she appointed PNC's own, Andrew, as head of the defense (woot Andy!) So, we all got in our squads, and spread evenly throughout the island to defend the barricades. I went over the Kings Run Barricade with a few pirates, and thats when Sandra showed up. I being the highest level over there, she not only appointed me in charge of that barricade, but she crewed me too! (

)

And so, the battle began! The undead masses flooded Port Royal. The longer the event went on, minute by minute, the undead grew larger and stronger. One by one, barricades fell, pirates died, and the undead grew stronger. But we managed to stick it out, right up to Roger himself! All pirates, including Sandra, flooded to the Mansion, and just before the barricade to the Mansion's door fell.... we got him!

In the end, I got the oppurtunity to be a part of a GM's crew, lead my own barricade (which, by the way, was one of the only two barricades left standing, the other being the one leading to the Governor's Mansion door

) get to fight Jolly Roger and his army, plus I got a special "Great job, Delmaria" from Sandra herself! All in all, it was one of the best POTCO experiences I've ever had, and I can't wait til' tomorrow!

oh man you are lucky Captain Del when i was on Cortilles no GM Showed up i hate it when they go tollive and don't tell us on schedules although it helps so then alot of people dont show up with questions any idea what letter servers they appear at?
