I didn't care for the stowaway either and if I did like it the price is way too cheap. This one gives basic members a teleport to padres. And at $200 with all the gold they probably have because they can't spend it on anything else it is just a drop in the bucket for them. The price should have been more like $1000 for Port Royal, 500 for Cuba cause nothing ever happens there, 2000 for Padres and 3000 for Tortuga cause that is where they all like to hang out.

I also see they neglected to say the real reason pirates are avoiding the eitc. That reason is cause they can't log in as a family and play together.

When I was a young pirate... before I was in a guild... before I had in-game friends to teleport to, I was sailing to Cuba all of the time for quests (before I got its totem). And this was when Cuba was a lot farther away from Port Royal (which I wish was still the case, way too close nowadays).

I think some of us need to think way back to when we were first starting out... when we didn't have access to teleport to each island or knew anyone that could. What? Was I the only one?

Yes, Disney has catering to the newer players lately. Some of these updates, IMO, are pretty decent considering who they were aiming for (a few things I wish I had when I was starting out). We (as in those of us here on POF being overly sarcastic with every "meaningless" update/news) aren't the only ones playing this game. It's not about us all of the time.

I agree completely with Sven. When I first read the release notes on these latest updates I noticed that they talked about making the game experience flow better at the lower levels, including the quests for the first three members of the Pearl crew. I wanted to see what they did, so I started a new pirate on test and ran her through Carver, Greer, and Cutts. The quests flowed together much better in my opinion. I really enjoyed playing it. I even found that they added a new boss, an EITC thug boss in the Thieves' Den. You have to defeat him as part of the Carver quest.

This is rather much like the Jolly Roger thing, I thought it actually meant we were going to meet him, and I was prepared to see him and all. But it was just another thing that tells us something we already know.

lol.. Basil.. you've been looking for a legitimate reason to hang out on Port Royal, Abassa server.. now you got it.

I can see it.. a guild enterprise... hanging out next to the dockworker and underbidding him.

I think we should riot personally, and report Pirates for Computer abuse. I mean, they make these dockworkers work 24/7 and even with the money they make, they are getting nowhere. Let there be war!!

That just made me think of the way stow away should be,
instead of charging for the ride the stow away pirate would catch a ride on a navy or eitc ship and have to fight them to stay alive the whole trip. And then of coarse they would not be able to take control of the helm and there would also be the risk that one of us pirates out there could actually sink the ship the stow away is on.

Why would we pay to tp, when we already can, is it a thing for new ppl who can't tp? Cuz if not, that was a dumb addition to the game, you guys could be so much more creative with Pirates, but u guys just finds new ways to hold it back from what it could be, admins are lame sometimes.

If you look at the picture, the pirate is jumping into a cargo crate. That being said, you really can't do all of what you said above when you're packed into a cargo crate, hoping the ship you're on doesn't sink

Back when I started out, I remember that when you went off from Padres Del Fuego, trying to get to Port Royal, there was a long fleet of EITC and Navy War ships blocking your way. You had to go real fast to get past them, and they would fire at you

I could understand how it might of helped us back in the earlier days, but now it seems a bit easy to just teleport to the Spanish Island from Tortuga and sail to Padres Del Fuego from there.

But I'll keep reading for that "Big Update"
