the next should be against assasins of the eitc. they should make a fort and the crew has to capture it. later there should be involvement with davy jones. he will be mad and send the kraken because you helped some people escape his crew by killing his men. then you must make an escape from the kraken and kill jones. you board his ship kill his men and run from jones because he has no heart you head to land with jones scared away. suspiciously he stops raids. why? because Jolly Roger controls the sea. there is a map of X number of pieces in the hands of undead bosses. you must follow riddles taken froom the next undead killed after the jones/kraken bb. the map that the boss has has a riddle leading to the next and this will go on for X amount of times. you will fight jolly roger and X amount of lvl 40 raiders in a cavern. I dont have any ideas after that. just to recap eitc bb, then kraken/jones battle, then jolly roger. this is my idea and it would fit the storyline so far. Disney, if you read this you have my permission to use the idea.

I'd settle for a boss that we know nothing about. Undead Timothy Dartan was pretty cool and all (of whom I am named in Test). If it's too hard to use a boss involved in the movie plot who gels with the game's plot, they should just make up someone.

However I would love to battle it and it would probably make 'part' of a better boss battle. Not really liking the idea of Jolly Roger or Beckett being the subject of a boss battles, as they need to be foes that go on forever (whats the game without them?). But then where does the storyline go? I think battles can be made up without having to throw in Beckett, and Jolly Roger.. our never ending pursuit of both avoiding, and destroying them.. Of course, we could just keep the imagination flowing, and retire pirate after pirate as they defeat and dispose of these ominous foes. Navy, EITC, Kraken, Davy Jones, "undead generals armies", Spanish, French could make some great boss battles I think. I just dont like finality in a game (such as defeating Beckett, or Jolly Roger), as it makes it harder, and less believable to continue past such events storyline wise. |

I was thinking more of a boss battle half way into the second story quest. It'd be good to get the whole Davy Jones part done in one story quest rather than bore players with two story quest just for Davy Jones. I can see the devs letting us fight the kraken before going up against davy jones and the Flying Dutchman in one story quest but I guess we'll just have to wait and see. |

I picked other meaning putting them all together.
Uh hem.... Jolly Roger finds the Black Pearl at the same time davy jones comes with the dutchman and brings out the kraken, massive battle ,boom bam. Pearl kills them all and you get Jack Sparrows outfit or something. Hey nick mind adding my ingenious idea to the poll? ________________________ Last edited by piratepeople9; 04-12-2009 at 02:28 AM.. |

I voted other. I just think they should add three more story chapters fairly paralel to the first. The second one would involve the navy.
The opening cutscene shows Jack Sparrow and Gibbs talking about how Norington was tricked to go after the Pearl and then shows a boat filled with EITC black guards. They then tell you to prepare for battle and the EITC boards the Pearl. (By the way, you are at a British Shipyard docked in a restricted bay.) Stage One: Kill the Assasains sent to capture the unprotected Pearl and then take the weel and find the Dauntless. Stage Two: Sink the Dauntless' four escort ships that grappled the Pearl using your cannon skills. Stage Three: Destroy the armed ship essembly lines used as forts so the bridges will fall. Stage Four: Cripple the Dauntless (Lvl 50 War Frigate) and drive it into a hurricane. In the last cutscene, there is a sad Norington in the partially destroyed Dauntless with his ships sinking all around him. He then sets course for Kingshead in what is left of his Man-of-War. The next boss battle is about bringing jolly Roger to his downfall. A cutscene opens with Jolly Roger at his base island looking through his spyglass at the Black Pearl on the horizon. He is angry that Sparrow is trying to attack him and breaks the tellescope and sets sail to meat him. Then All of his bosses apear onboard the Pearl. Stage One: Kill Jolly Rogers bosses and take the weel to meet Jolly roger. Stage Two: Sink Jolly Roger's fleet of four War Sloops using cannon skills. Stage three: Destroy Jolly Roger's forts hidden inside old ship hulls. Stage Three: Sink Jolly's flagship Grim Reaper (lvl 40 War Sloop). A cutscene occours showing the EICS Endeavor find Roger's wreck and black guards shoot what is left of him. They may think he is dead, but his ghost will haunt the caribbean for eternity. The last boss battle is distracting Davy Jones is the hardest one. A cutscene shows Jack Sparrow tell you to sneak aboard the Dutchman and commandeer it. He also tells you that only four of you can go aboard so it can only fit 4 crew because he dosen't want you to be noticed. Be sure to pick your crew wisely! Stage One: Sneak aboard the Dutchman and Kill his crew (Kelpbrain Seabeard etc.) then take the weel of the enemy ship. You must sail straight ahead out of the Isla Crusces bay. Stage Two: Sink Jones' attack ships sent to investigate. Stage three: Destroy Becket's outposts. Stage four: Kill the other half of Jones' Crew emerging from bellow. Stage five: Destroy the larger outposts. Stage six: Destroy Jones' War Sloop. (Another cutscene shows Jones' appear on Deck and angry about this action and it appears that he kills you.) Stage Seven: escape the Dutchman's brigg. (most people would think that this is prison and they lost the battle but reall y there is a door at the stern of the ship which contains the brigg. Dont run into Jones again who is at the helm or else you will really lose!) Stage Eight: grapple the Sea Gypsy four crew capacity light sloop that Jack sent to make your escape. Stage Nine: Kill the Four EITC Mercanaries sent to investigate the Sea Gypsy then take the Weel. Stage Ten: Cripple the Dutchman with the Light Sloop! A Cutscene shows Jones curse Jack Sparrow and you and your men go up onto the Deck of the Pearl. Jack then exclaims. "I have to go to some prison to the north. In order to kill Jones I need a map of his key which will help me locate it so I can stab the heart." And that of coarse is where the second movie begins. Hope ye liked me amuzin ideas Meharties! |

WOW Edward Teach, I thought my idea was good but yours is better. also the Dauntless is a War GALLEON! watch the first movie again, its not a frigate. I hope Disney will do something like your idea. But one thing you forgot is the Award for Winning. Honestly, I think the reward should be +5 Notority Cap and +1 lvl cap for a weapon. No new skills are needed, more points would just be nice. I am not mastered but I think mastered pirates need something to do. The Davy Jones Quest would be "a nigh impossible proposition." however you also forgot to include quests leading up to it. It doesn't have to be long, but there must be SOMETHING. Other than that... thats a GREAT IDEA!!!!

I'd be fine with a battle with someone never before seen. There's no need for Jolly Roger, Davy Jones, the Kraken, or anybody else we're familiar with to be the boss. They can all easily be involved for story's sake, and they can all be easily used to spice up the game, but for the most part everything has to be left open-ended, with an explanation being around for their existence after you supposedly defeat them.
The first chapter involves just helping Jack, and a second chapter of the sort wouldn't be so bad either. Perhaps just helping him with another task would do--in the beginning, Jolly Roger tells you to give a message to Jack; as well, in the movies, Jack does owe some debt to Davy Jones. Helping him escape/defeat the first and hide from the second would be a good chapter, and all that entails. Perhaps you could strand Jolly Roger, or defeat some personal bad boy of Davy Jones and help Jack escape Tormenta. ****** Otherwise, Barbossa would make a good driver for a chapter, as, with the game taking place supposedly between the first two movies (though it would make sense somewhere before the first even ends), he was supposedly dead. |
