Since you stated that this was obvious, where is this rule stated, or where was it hinted? All I know is that there's a rule for stowing weapons. Just asking.

"The Pirates Online Code of Conduct: 1. Respect your fellow pirates - Pirates of the Caribbean Online does not tolerate any swearing, cheating, bullying or overt harassment toward other players. Disciplinary action will be taken should any one of these occur while playing. " So basically, harassing the GMs is against the Disney's Code of Conduct. I thought this was obvious because everyone should have read this before they started to play. Here is a link to the Code of Conduct if you want more info: The Pirates Online Code of Conduct |

After all, she did knock out everyone around her for no reason before, and people took it seriously as if they thought that she thought they broke a rule.

Constance Sorrow (GM) specifically states to "Stay out of my house!"
GMs also state "Stow your weapons" or something similar. I don't know how they could be any clearer. Multiple warnings are usually given depending on the number of pirates not listening. Hopefully that answers your question. Captain Whale |

I believe that Constance has played her part out. Her job was the tease intro to the gold give-away. She provided the clues about what the story is behind that, and she even gave out the correct words to use in order to get the code for the gold. I don't believe that we will see much of her anymore, unles they, Disney, revive that character for another reason.

She was sighted yesterday and was actually attacked by some EITC Black Guard (GMs). She knocked them out so I am told.
She has fortold that her home may be invaded and that Jolly Roger will start to attack other islands in the Caribbean! Tis second hand but I trust the source enough to post it. Does anyone else have any information on this? Captain Whale |

Wait, I'm confused here.
It's against the rules to go in the ghosts' house just because she knocks people out when they go into it? Well, to me this just looks like some fun roll playing to me. I would think if she knocked out other GMs they're obviously doing it for fun and not because "going into a house is against the rules". Sorry, but once I saw that it seems weird to call going into a house against the rules. |

You guys know how at most GM events that dozens of pirates swarm the GM, shouting out of turn, using their weapons, etc., and the GM is never able to get out what they are trying to say? Thats why Constance probably knocked out other pirates that weren't listening. They were getting too close, they were disrupting the role-playing, so she shut them up. The fact that shes supposed to be a depressed yet moody ghost only adds on to her reason role-playing wise to knock others out.
GMs knocking out each other? Its obviously just part of the event. The more involved the GMs get, like attacking each other, the more it adds to the role-playing aspects, thus, making the event more entertaining/exciting/surprising for both the players, and the actors themselves. Its a game, it should be fun for everybody, including the GMs. |

If Captain Walter can have a group of fifty pirates bunching up around him so can Constance. Knocking people out is roll playing, and being knocked out when walking into the house is part of the event. It doesn't mean it's against the rules, and if the GMs don't say, "It's against the rules to come in this house", then it's not. Besides, the house is part of the game, so it shouldn't be against the rules to go to a certain spot. The GMs don't knock you out because you go against the rules, they knocked you out because it's for roll playing. |

I never said it was against the rules. I simply stated they were making it harder for her to speak. I don't think it would be fun/easy for you if you had dozens of pirates swarming you, causing lag, yelling at you, etc. If I was a GM, I would want as much respect as any other pirate. And also, I DID state it was mainly for role-play in my post.
For example, does it say in the rules you aren't allowed to teleport to somebody without asking first? No, but its the polite thing to do. Same as for not flocking to the GMs. Its not in the rules, but its the right thing to do. |
