Release Notes - August 2, 2010

• Fishing is now available! Head to the docks of Port Royal, Tortuga, and Padres Del Fuego and talk to the Fishmaster to get a rod and start fishing.
• New Daggers and Throwing Knives have been added and can be found in Loot Drops.
• A new Guild rank has been added! Members can now be promoted to Veterans and invite other players into their guild.
• Guild Officers are now restricted to 5 member removals per day.
• Guild Members will be notified when a member has been invited or removed from a Guild.
• Fixed a crash in Cannon Defense when players enter a game where mines had already been shot into the field.
• Fixed a bug where players could move around while injured if they had just taken Ghastly Visage.
• Fixed a bug where a players voodoo bar was not refilling properly upon login.
• The starting Voodoo Doll, Dagger, and Staff items should now be purchasable from stores.
• Fixed various collision issues with walls, crates and barrels
• Moved Genevieve and Marcos Verde in taverns.
• Common treasures should be attainable in loot containers.

Known Issues - August 2, 2010

• Members may have trouble logging onto Pirates via the web browser after a server crash. Clearing the cache and cookies and restarting the browser should correct the problem.
• Ray Fishlander, the Fishmaster on Tortuga, may appear to be floating off the docks.

After fishing for ten minutes, I love it.

Better than toontown's and I see how it fits into the pirate theme. It's fun, and a good gettaway from enemies.

Also theres a NEW ISLAND by Isla Perdida you can't land it because of fog.

With the new 5 removals a day and the notification options large guilds can survive and now immature people can no longer destroy guilds, they can only slightly damage it by removing only 5 people which means that they would need at least 20 other people to seriously damage a guild.

Whats the level for? there are 6 empty slots that seem to unlcok something when you reach a certain level

Something's telling me in about three years people here are going to be posting, "Remember when fishing came out?"

Just for the record, your skills get better as you level up your rod. While heal stinks at first, it gets better as you level up.

I'm only a level 9, but things get real interesting the farther you go.
