You can also go father into KH up to the second fortress.. then using your staff shoot two or three groups to come at you then wither away. Many will be in the 19-24 Officer range with an occasional L27 Merc for good measure

I think they still provide good rep when green. I'll stay even while most are gray. However, Stumps work well too.

I would go to Tormenta and in the area where the three ship wrecks form a triangle there is a way to line up mobs from the three spawn sites therein. Use Flaming Skull (or whatever it's called) and time the shots correctly to pick off 2 or 3 Urchinfist / Molusk / Seabeards at a time (beware the Seabeards, they cause insta-jail in the blink of a lidless eye).

If you can hit a Molusk with Hex a few times before the first blast of flaming skull you cut down on the damage you have to take.

Three baddies at a time turn as much as 400 Rep if you have a crew bonus working.

Here's a sketch of what I am trying to convey.

*Edit: Ok - so I can't get the sketch to attach........ maybe I isn't so smart after all.

I'd say stumps are safer. When you finish with the two, you can run around to encounter the one on the side, then go back to the two. (I'd probably use a Cutlass or something for that though, as it is a weapon to aim for one.)

Stumps are good. I've had good results in the catacombs where there are several groups of bad guys fighting. Often you can get a high level raider and merc together. Several of the bosses would be good, just find one to fit your level.

Sail solo and board flagships is always a change of pace.
