Help with dagger

I just started to lvl and use the dagger and found i realy like it! I would really like some of your input on what skills should be maxed and used.So far what ive read is that viperblade is a must maxed also i see that its not smart to put any points into the third combo skill because its too slow?I just want to have the perfect dagger any input would be appreciated.

hmmm.......Blade instinct is a pretty good skill to max if you want every skill in dagger and cutlass to be 25% more powerful. Eviscerate is a very deadly skill and if maxed is a quick killer. I don't recommend putting more than one skill point in throw dirt, asp, or adder.

Throw Dirt and Asp are worthy of points, what with the new modifications and what not. Throw Dirt I'm thinking may still get full time in, if it gets just another point in.

I think you should put some points in dirt throw. The enemies always miss while the dirt is in their eyes. And adder and asp. Put about three points in adder because when you throw it at doll wielding enemies they lose their attunement.

enemies dont lose attunements to adder they only lose it to throw dirt asp and the game recently removed accuracy loss by throw dirt so now they almost always hit.
I think points in blade instinct are good ones becasue i can pull about 990 with viper nest 350 with side winder+the wound which makes it about 700 and adder i do about 130 but added poison i do about 270 and asp i do around 95... (Throw dirt is kind of useless now) And points in vipers adder or side is what i recomend (all dagger throughs are named after snakes lol)

You can make the dagger a varied tool: you can make it an anti-doll weapon, a backstab weapon (usually a team-oriented tool, to be best utilized), a quick damager (what with the most damaging move with the most hits being possible in 3 or 4), a power throw weapon, etc.

In other news, does Eviscerate now require Gouge?

yeah that is the rule with combination rules now...
you cant have a strong combination with out the combination before it for example...
you cant have flourish without cleave or...
you cant have thrust without flourish so you cant have evicerate without gouge.
