POF SvS Tournament!

Come one Come all to the POF 1st Annual SvS Tornament!


Well after mastering me pirate last weekend i was gettin bored and been wonderin bout' a pof SvS Tourny but couldn't find the right time. Well this weekend that changes with the Privateer challenge this weekend i think it be the perfect time for POF'ers to unite and fight!



Overview:
This is basically a fight between Spanish vs. French for POF. You find a team and fill out the form below and post it or PM me it and ill add you to the roster hopefully we have event amount of teams on either side to make it a fair showdown!



Time, Date and Place:
There will be FIVE events each 1 hour long. HOWEVER i am asking crew leaders to meet with me 1 hour before the event start and ALL crew members to be there 30 minutes before event starts!!!!!!!

Also note there are no servers choosen i will choose a server the day of thats why i need to mee crew leaders 1 hour before event.

1st event:
Time: be there at 8:30pm est but event starts at 9pm until 10pm EASTERN!
Date: Friday August, 22nd 2008
Place: Undetermined it is too in advance to choose a server on THE DAY OF the event i will scout out an empty server with 0 vs 0 in hopes of getting a clean field. As for the islands why you go to the island of your faction.

2nd event:
Time: be there at 12:30 PM est but event starts at 1pm until 2pm EASTERN!
Date: Saturday August, 23rd 2008
Place: Undetermined it is too in advance to choose a server on THE DAY OF the event i will scout out an empty server with 0 vs 0 in hopes of getting a clean field. As for the islands why you go to the island of your faction.

3rd event:
Time: be there at 8:30PM EST but event starts at 9pm until 10pm EASTERN!
Date: Saturday August, 23rd 2008

More events may be sceduled depending on when i have free time.



Whats it for:
Well first off i will be giving away 2 prizes

Prize 1: Will go to the FACTION that has the most overall points (all teams points added up). The Faction with the most wins! What though? You will receive A) Bragging Rights B) $50 Casino Cash EVERY member of every team will receive this.

Prize 2: Will go to the TEAM with the most points it doesn't matter which faction it is on all that matters is overall points. What Though? You will receive A) Bragging Rights B) $100 Casino Cash EVERY member of the team will receive this.



Crew Form:
Most important part you MUST fill this out in order to participate. I would like ONE UNO 1 Form for each team and i will like the TEAM LEADER to submit it to me either via Post or PM

Team Name: Talk amongst yourselves to find a team name it may be your guild name or something you make up as long as it is G or PG rated.
Team Captain: Choose a team captain this person may be elected or may just be your guild-master. this is the person who submits the PM or Post to me and is responsible for checking for updates in the event and announcing to team. Ship Name: Please Provide the name of the ship you will be using so we can identify who's ship is whose team.
Ship Class: This is a 2 part answer Part one is is your ship Light Regular or War Part 2 is is your ship a Sloop Galleon or Frigate.
Faction: is your team french or Spanish? decide with your team and then choose. PLEASE NOTE there MUST be an even number of teams on either side so if we have 5 french and 3 Spanish u must be Spanish unless you get more teams to join Spanish so you can be french.
Crew: You can provide the names of each of the people joining you or just give me a number i don't care HOWEVER make sure you keep track of EVERY MEMBERS name on the day of the event in case you win so i can give you the prizes.
Time: Select either Event1, Event2, Event3, Event4, or Event5 you MAY choose all or some or just one event but make sure the entire crew can make it to what ever times you choose.

Stand-By Form:
The stand-by forum is for people who would like to participate in the event but do not have a crew nor do they want to start a crew. This form is for single players only just fill out the form below i will add you to the stand-by list below and CREW LEADERS can ask you to join their team.

Rules:
1. DO NOT do any glitches of ANY kind if you are caught cheating your entire team will be disqualified!!! CHEATERS NEVER PROSPER!

2. Foul talk to the other teams/faction is not permitted you may taunt them but do not make this a personal fight this is for F.U.N!

3. Please do not dock during the event you will lose all of your points not to mention it will unbalance the field

4. HAVE FUN! its a game don't get to competitive and yell at your team remember have fun!!!

5. DO NOT CHANGE FACTIONS if you begin as french you will end as French no changing bc the other side is winning!

6. you may only be on ONE crew you can not be in more than 1!



Whats Gonna Go Down:
On the day of the event factions and teams will go to their islands and crew up then set sail on their ship but DO NOT LEAVE YOUR SPOT until i say go you must stay in the position until i say go this is when all teams are on the field and ready to fight. Use this time to strategies with your faction and team on whats gonna happen like a battle command.

Once i say go you may do as u please if you want to run away fine but it isn't gonna help your team. Please do NOT dock while it is still going on it will only get u disqualified if your ship docks you can not continue to participate.

What about crashes and AFK?
Well since you will hopefully have a crew if YOU crash then its fine your team will continue just get back on and get back on yer ship. If you need to go afk same thing.

What about ammo?
You are allowed to TP off your ship and onto an island to re-load however the owner may not due to game restrictions.

What about Repairs?
Hey its fair game if you are repairing and a ship comes up behind you and attacks well then its fair game. If you cant take that then get out of the kitchen (or field).

What is considered fair and unfair?
Only things Un-Fair and WILL NOT be tolerated is glitches and bugs if you do ANY SVS GLITCHES you and your team will be disqualified immediately! Everything else is fair game from sailing away and doing nothing to sneaking up behind someone and hitting them.

I want to join but don't have a crew.
Well you can ask to join one of the existing crews or start your own i WILL allow single man teams but i warn you its still fair game

What about levels it isn't fair if i have 10 lvl 10 cannons and they have 11 lvl 25?
Well i'm sorry it is UP TO YOU to choose your crew and ship you can choose what ever you want all is fair!



Notes:
NOTE1: Please make sure you and your crew are doing this so dont worry space is pretty much avaliable so dont rush and sign up talk it over get a crew get a ship figure out what you are going to do talk it over and once you and all ye crew mates are ready THEN post your sign-up!

NOTE2: ALL crew leaders MUST meet me in game a few days prior to the event and MUST meet me 30 minutes proir to the events to make sure it is a go!

NOTE3: You MAY change your ship/ship class crew and crew leader and even your faction after u apply i prefer you not but IF you do please PM me the changes so i get it personally.

Stand-By List:

This list Crew leaders may recruit members for their crew just pm a person on the stand-by list if they say yes and you work it out then either post here or PM me so i can remove them from the list.

one thought...4 hours seems to be quite a long time for this event. Personally i have a hard time being on line that much with a family and it being the weekend.

any chance you can make it a 2 hour event?

Yes the islands to meet will be what ever faction you choose however the server i do not know yet i will announce it on the day of the event once i find a good server for the event. I wish i could do it now but i cant.
