Buggy Characters?

I see a few of you talking about if you have a buggy character, how do you know if it is bugged? I don't want to go to far with my pirate if I have to start over.

What makes you think you'll be able to keep your beta pirate in open?
It's not a practice generally followed in beta tests.

Most likely- you won't be keeping your character. They generally wipe everything and restart, Rattlebones is correct about that. Beta = practice.

Yeah when I first started testing I was focusing on completing quests, which was the wrong idea. Now I just play around doing whatever I want, because in the long run when it opens to the pubic I'm going to have to start again. I was wondering a few days ago myself if we would be able to carry our pirates over, but now I know that even if you could I wouldn't. I would rather start fresh on the quests knowing the quests are complete.
