Can't log on with a Mac since the last update
It's looks like I may never see those new weapons. Since the most recent update, I have unable to log on using a G5 running Leopard. I had no problems before this last update.
I tried to use the live technical support but that was useless since I spent 30 minutes trying to send a bug report and was unable. The screen appeared to be timing out using both Safari and Firefox. I got the "OK" screen to come up on Safari by hitting refresh but the guy on the other end at technical support never received a bug report. Like someone already pointed out in this forum, the bug report needs a bug report! Any other Mac users having trouble these past few days?

Yes. Since the update I can log in, then it will tell me there was network connection issue and kick me off. When I am able to get on the lad when sailing is so bad that it makes it pretty much unplayable. I have tried a Macbook Pro running leopard and a 2 X 3GHz dual core tower and have the same results on two different networks.

also having problems with mac
I can login but various little glitchy bugs on my intel Imac running tiger
-control key stopped working out of the bluw -glitchy graphics issues when I'm fighting that did NOT happen before the update |

The reason they do not know about it is b/c the bug report isn't working! I guess I will have to send email. I encourage those of you in the same boat I am to do the same since if they don't hear from us, they won't change anything.

I have a mac; Leopard OS X and Pirates works fine for me... I've been disconnected twice since the update and that has been when sailing but that seems to be fixed now.

I found that if i turn down the settings as low as they go the game will play. However it looks so junky I am not going to waste my time.

I have also been unable to log in. I've also been unable to send the bug report from the page that pops up.
I've since sent two bug reports from the site and have yet to hear back from anyone. I just sent an email to them and I hope I will hear back soon. Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon. It is quite frustrating. |

I'm in the same position as you are,I've tried everything from redownloading 3 times to trying to submit bug reports...no change....very frustrating !
It's been 10 days since updating and the problem with connecting to the Game Server persists,I'm giving the engineers 5 more days to rectify this problem, which after speaking to Tech Support they are fully aware of....failing which I'll cancell my 3 accounts and pertition other Mac users who are experiencing this don't care attitude from The Pirates of the Caribbean (Game of the Year) team,to do exactly the same.I believe that these updates should have been fully tested and retested on all systems, before updating the game! Exactly Same as Chernabog's problem. Don't know how chat did not know as I first reported on April 30th this problem athough with there database down maybe word did not spread. Recontacted on 1st as they could not see bug report on 30th.
![]() I'm using Tiger on a G5 so problem is not Leapord spcific. BUG REports. The auto one that appairs when you crash is glitched and does not work. You have to use the bug report from POTC web site and attach your two .log files per instructions. After a compleate restail of Pirates On 1st the chat person said she expidited the problem to the enginers and that I would be contacted by e-mail when done. Have not recived an email yet. Today I called Pirates and made complant that I should have at least gotten a working on it email by now. I also confirmed that billing would credit me free days to make up for the time I have not been able to get online and to contact them when problem fixed. |

i havent been able to get either ...i have sent bug reports and talked to customer service and tried the online chat support...and so far nothing...ive already go basic should be interesting seeing a level 40 running around with a grey tag if i ever get back on LOL

Argg it can be weeks between patches. I am upset that they did not follow up my call with an email response.

we (3 pirates in the house) also cannot log on since the new weapons quests or send bug reports!! It has been over a week and i have talked (live chatted) with techs 4 times. They just say "its more wide spread than we thought" and we are working on it. Seriously outta patience.

Well as per usual I did my daily "try to log onto the game" and it took a long time to update so my hope grew with each passing second.........only to be tragically let down seeing that large script and then the inactive bug report. Says the application unexpectedly quit. I visited other MMO sites hoping to be inspired to try a new game but I miss my guildies. Come on guys ...fix this problems already...takes alot to make a pirate cry but I'm going to throw myself on the floor and have a tantrum real soon!
