Delete a pirate?

Is there a way to delete a pirate? I'm not interested in deleteing the entire account, just a single pirate on the account.

Never mind, I figured it out. lol, it was right in front of my face the entire time.

Yes, on the game load screen there is a delete option. I think it's to the left of your pirates name banner (the one that's under the feet of your chosen pirate)

Select the pirate, then click the skull and crossbones button next to the big play button.

Tip: sell everything of value on that account (ships, clothing, whatever) then lose it in a poker game to your new character, or to someone that can relay it in the same way to your new character. This assumes that you have more than a few hundred gold.
