Engraved Pearls from Rock Crabs on Tortuga

I'm in The List>Hendry Cutts>Pearl Colelctor>Alberto's Remains Quest, and I'm having trouble with the Engraved Pearls/Crabs.

I'm having trouble finding these. I go to the murky mire, where the ray of light points to the forest, but every crab I kill says not found. Am I looking in the wrong place?

If it's searching, but not found, lol that's good news because you're in the right place It takes sometimes tons of crabs before you find the pearls you need. Just keep killing them

lol! The only reason I knew was an earlier quest, I think to kill skeletons on Port Royal. I went to Tortuga and slaughtered my happy way through the forests, only to make myself frustrated. I think that's how I actually found these forums, I got annoyed enough that I needed to seek advice.

So yes, you may not have been paying attention..but your certainly in good company!

I killed about 15 before I had the 2 I needed. Be glad you read the quest first. I didnt really "read" it till I was on driftwood killing rock crabs....DOH
