Test gets left behind

After buying the "Capt. Black" outfits for my live pirates, I went over to test to buy for those too. When I got to the peddler, I got a big surprise! The new clothes are not there, the only tab says "AUG." Maybe Disney forgot about test.

Disney uses the clothes to distract paying members from the fact that this game is on its last legs, giving you clothes to make it feel like "hey there's something new!"

Remember that the Test servers are only intended to be just that - test servers. If a piece of content does not need to be "tested," such as a peddler outfit (considering the system has been around for a while now,) Disney may just feel to pass up putting it on Test as it's the extra ounce of effort that truly is not necessary.

Though, I would assume they'll put it out on the Test servers as they always do - just stick in there

Might end up being like Spectral Sword, not making it to test until a week or so after live. But, it was interesting to see that double rep was working on test server.

Sorry, I just couldn't resist. Chances are it'll be up in the next week or so. Or maybe Cannonfury is right and they just figured that they would put it out for live only, since test is so quiet anyway.

I don't think it would be because Test is quiet. Some of us, such as I, only EVER go on the Test Server, and I quite prefer it due to the silence and lack of lag.
They'll probably send it over to the test server eventually. Like J.T. said, it was so for the Spectral Cutlass.

Simple explanation: It was Labor Day weekend, a national holiday. Before that, with the weapons, a promotional meant to stir interest in an upcoming contest. Sure made sense to me to put it straight to Live than Test.

All servers are working now. One, perhaps two, bug report(s) made all the difference. POTCO has not listed it in the Release Notes yet. Once its patched they will. If the second bug report is responsible, be prepared to see a big change. And contrary to that thinking of POTCO being on its last legs, check yours or your friend's or your friend's friend instead. That abnormal way of playing is on its last legs.

POTCO doesn't usually list server maintenances in release notes, though I could be wrong.

I didn't say the game was on its last legs, though if it was implied, I didn't mean to imply it, but that's alright. I still have some faith in the game. Was just saying that I prefer being on Test since it's quiet and I can trust it not to lag. There's no need for me to worry about someone getting on my ship spamming rainbow text and trying to take over my ship. I just feel it's safer and more peaceful.

I saw today on a website for the game that test is supposed to be having something new - apparently (at least for now), just for test.
