New Quests Please!?

Any ideas and concepts for new quests?

Aye and already submitted to POTCO. Basically, have pirates get maps for those islands that don't have any for whatever reason. I was inspired while battling those nasty enemies at Cangrejos. I think some apple hit my head by one of those crabs. rofl

hey how about elizabeth will give you a quest when you noreirity 15 you will look for the infamous ship the flying dutchman

how about at notoriety 15 you will look for the flying dutchman members only when you find it you get to commanderer it

As some of you may know, I made a point of finding every single "stationary" quest there was in the game. Having played about 5-6 characters now, I've been thru all of them several times.

Now with my later characters, it's just:

- Find the next quest person;
- Click, click, click (yeah, yeah, yeah);
- What do I have to do;
- Do it;
- Find the next quest person ....

With my latest two characters, I'm not bothering with the quests at all. One is just hacking and slashing, trying to master sword as soon as possible. The other is just sailing, trying to master that. I alternate them for a little variety.

I think every NPC in the game should be able to give out basic, repeating quests like some of the bartenders hand out. But, with two changes. More variety (Sink This, Kill This, Deliver this to So-and-So, etc.) and the reward would be a Loot Pouch - so you have a chance at some random piece of good plunder.

This is something they can do now with no huge amount of programming.

There use to be a 4th bartender who was located on Padres. They took him out. Uh, not as in a Tony Soprano way, just the routine virtual layoff known as deletion. idk why though. Maybe they can *cough, cough* hire a fourth bartender at Padres at Skull Thunder and let him make an offer no pirate can refuse. He or she will make it worth our while. Perhaps some special random item after redirecting certain ships to Davy Jones Locker, or after aggressively negotiating with certain members of the esteemed class. In fact, maybe that couple from Rambleshack could return and uh take care of business for us pirates.

This is what I call a perfect quest:
*Lots and lots of video cutscenes
*For higher levels
*Actually allows us to get GOOD gold. (Yeah, I'm looking at you bartenders)
*Digging things out the ground
*A good story, possibly including one of my favorite captains, Captain Barbossa.
