A New Chapter
I want to first off thank EVERYONE with all the things we've gone through within the last few months. It's been a trying journey but you will all soon see the fate of our guild.
We just brought the lot of us over, I feel we've been settled in, and it is now that I realize, I just cannot do it. Not now at least. I feel like I cannot resume my duties as a GM while only playing about an hour a week. if that. I want this guild to continue, but I know if I let it continue the way it is running, our newly formed guild will run right into the ground. So here I am. Something I really would never want to do. But here is the next chapter. Ready? Get it? The next chapter for Eternal Warlordz/ Fellowship is for you to write. I thank you all for being so supportive because lately I've been needing it. If you're still asking why? I still plan to clear things up. Not only am I not really able to play a whole lot, but I feel like I am driving the guild down with my inability to play. I don't want that happening. So I say DISPERSE! Form your new chapter. It's what I am doing, and what you should do too. I'm sorry that this may make some upset, but just know this has nobody to do with other than me, myself, Hookshot. I also plan to make the best of this and take notes on how other successful guilds are ran in my journey. It is hard to say goodbye, but really it's just a 'See you soon' moment. I plan to come back in a couple years and resume my duties as a guild master. After I am done with the responsibilities that real life is giving me now at my age, I will have a little more free time on my hands to be able to play. RIght now it just isn't looking that way. I WILL BE BACK! Just know that you don't have to stay with the guild.I love you all, and I thank you. Please do realize this is a tough decision for me to make. So tough that I have decided not to delete EW or EF. they will be there when I come back. It will take a while but I ask you to hold tight. There will be a time where we reunite. Until then, please explore the game well and safely. Thank you, ~Hookshot |

This really made me sad, to read this. I wish you could have played more and things would be different! I hope to be under the leadership of one of your guilds one day! And I'll be waiting anxiously, just like everyone else. Maybe you could come back sooner? Hopefully...

Aye, I will be back. Mark my words. I put this under guilds and clans section because yes, I am leaving, but I feel the guild is a bigger subject. I've put Hookshot in a guild called "Audacity" and for now that will be my new home. But please remember, It was so hard to make this decision. I'll be back as a GM in maybe a year and a half. We'll try then. But until then HAPPY EASTER!

I'm quite sad to read this... but I understand what you mean, and I trust that you have made the right decision. There were people that tried to bring Warlordz/Fellowship down, but they didn't succeed. They tried to destroy it by drama and turning people against their officers. But Hook, the reason they didn't succeed was because YOU did this not because you have given up, but because you feel that it is in the best interest of your guildmates. THAT is what makes a true Guildmaster. THAT is someone that I will forever look up to for their courage and decision making.
Eternal Warlordz will never be gone. They'll always be in my thoughts and my heart. Hookshot, know how much I look up to you. I hope that every person in Eternal Warlordz/Fellowship can know that they had THE BEST guildmaster out there. Hookshot. I await the day that you return mate. As will all that have ever had the pleasure of sailing with you. |

I would make one of my infamously long speeches, but I feel that not even my words can do this moment in time quite enough justice. So, I'll leave it with this:
It takes a very good Guildmaster to care for his guild so profoundly that he would stand by them at any moment in time - but it takes a great Guildmaster to care enough for his members to see them go. |

Hook, I know a lot of people will look at you and sneer at how you're 'giving up'. But when you look at it, they're the people who'd rather try in vain to support their guild at their members' dismay when the guild is better off dispersed. They're the people who will probably never match the courage and consideration that you've displayed (especially today) because of pride.
This is sad news, but at least we all know that it wasn't for selfish purposes. Sometimes, letting something go shows that you care for it deeply. You admitted the main problem and did your best to ensure that the members benefit. You've shown that you're an excellent GM, not only because of the tough decisions that you've made to keep the guild thriving, but also because of your constant drive to serve the members, even if that means closing the guild. That's a Guildmaster's true goal, and you never strayed away from it. And for that, my hat is off to you.

Aww Hookshot, you will be missed my friend. And I wholeheartedly agree with Del - that if you do love something - set it free - if it comes back to you it is yours - if not - then it never was. I've had to live by that many times in my personal life. Letting go is much harder than hanging on.
I hope the guild can unite and stay together until such a time that you can return. I hope they are selecting a leader to replace you, at least for now. There is nothing more painful on this game than losing those you have come to trust and love over time. Yes, it's a GAME. But the feelings we have for each other are REAL. Not sure what you mean by 'dispurse' - I hope the guild stays together in some way - form a new guild or join an existing one - the point is that you stay together. Good luck to ya. |

All my words have been taken. But hat's off to Hook. Seriously! Hook, (My Cali bro xD) is excellent. He knows how to run a guild. And here is a great example. Hook doesn't only care for himself, but for everybody else, almost like the mother of children or a doctor. Through this whole guild, Hook guided me through it, stopping (somewhat (just kidding)) to lend a hand. Because of what he has done, I believe he has the right to do this. Sure, its sad that we will be gone, but we wont. We are basically as he said, "writing our own chapters". So. After some experience, we can come together, and be even better then before.

Well, Hookshot, I've heard about EW. I almost joined it, now i regret i didnt. But, in a couple years, if, (god forbid) the guild falls apart, I will help you reunite EW. make a new Eternal Warlordz. I've seen a great guild fall. I dont want another one to. if you need anything, just ask Old Hector.
