Unable to Board or Launch ships

I was on my ship. And I disabled a flag ship (a panther). I was unable to use any of my cannons to fire a grappling. Also was unable to get back on the helm. I finally, had to close down. Even though I had a full cargo.

Now when I login, I get to the dingy to launch a ship. I only have 1 option. That is to board the ship I was stuck on. My other ships, I can not launch (not an option). I click board, and go back to click on shift to go to your ship.

When I go to a shipwright, I am unable to do repairs or anything. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, do you have any suggestions to get out of this glitch?

OUCH!

This bug got me last week. The ship i hit was the flagship just off of the coast of Padres. I had to wait for the server to reset before it corrected itself. Fortunately, it was that same evening a maintenance was done and it fixed the problem.

There have been previous posts that suggest going back to the same exact ocean/server and boarding from the same exact dock will fix this, but I tried for an hour switching servers and checking all available servers. All that happened was the system reset my ship timer out at sea everytime it hit 0.

Submit a bug report definately, and try livehelp if available. Otherwise, you may need to wait until a maintenance occurs.

OH WOW....

I happened to be right off the coast of an island (Isla Cangrejos). Makes me wonder if it is wise to disable a flag ship so close to a coast.

Just did the live chat. They told me it IS a known bug, and they are working on it. I had to send in the bug report, so they can keep track of how many players have the problem.
