If POTCO shut down, what would you do?
This question is completely hypothetical. I'm in no way saying that there is any indication of Pirates Online shutting down at this moment, and I am not saying it is imminent in the near or far future. This is just a "What If" statement, and should be thought of as such. Do NOT mutiny this thread in to an argument over proof that doomsday for POTCO is upon us.
Should POTCO shut down, what would you do? Where would you go? Would you and all your ingame friends mingrate to a new game, or go their seperate ways? Would you forget about MMOs all together, or find the next-best thing? Really, this is all about how you would handle the situation. Again, this thread is not meant to provoke study or arguement. This thread is a completely random question, and timing has nothing to do with it. |

Then I would go back to happily playing civilization v. (That game is awesome) |

Same as Mr. Awesome. But instead of playing civ, I would play any game with an extreme amount of violence.

Would be sad, but I would just return to things that I did in my hiatus from POTCO. None of which included on-line games...

I probaly would not play a differant RPG, Shark does have a good point. POTCO is one of a kind.

First I would probably forget about MMO's, then I would go on with life but keep in touch with game friends through other online outlets.

If POTCO does shut down, maybe they will start a new game? Might do that... Otherwise, I have no idea...
