Dark Fire Cutlass, LOL

I know Disney was making an effort by giving the new redeem codes, so I will try not to be too harsh.

The darkcutlass code gives you a rare cutlass with bloodfire, and attack of 22, which is less than a common level 10 cutlass found pretty much anywhere. So unless you are starting a new pirate, or were set back to level 10 or under in the roll backs, it is pretty much just giving you another 42 gold when you sell it....

I believe they should add another code for higher level pirates who may have lost out in the roll backs. I personally lost Hull Ripper among the few famed items I lost. And my lower level pirate lost a substantial amount of work.

I credit Disney with the attempt, but 500 gold and a weak cutlass doesnt remove the sour taste from my mouth.....

lol, they should give us (famed) Shadow cutlass!! Dont understand why they didnt release a perfectly fine famed. lol, tried to reedem this sword into my baby test pirate, didnt work -_-

Yes I agree with both of you 100% Why not give us one legendary weapon too!

It is a pretty silly sword. I'm just gonna redeem it on my baby pirates so I can have it to use, as its better than a rusty cutlass. I truly think that they should have maybe given us a code that redeems a random famed weapon. It was good of them to try to give us something, but this isn't going to make up for all the lost loot.

yes, I used it on a couple baby pirates as well, but I really do not use those pirates...

Hopefully Disney will have mercy and give us something of worth..

Ok well I know that getting a Famed or Legendary weapon for free would be crazy good, and I'm, not saying I wouldn't want it.... but it would make the value of the weapons go down. If I get a Famed/Legendary weapon, I practically go crazy. If I got a free Legendary, then got another while looting say a week or two later, I would just say, "cool!" It would be good yes, but it would be more rare if you just get it the normal way.... looting.

So many lost famed items which the Darkfire never makes up for...not even close!

In terms of reimbursing the players, they are really being more than fair. While most players are happy with how they got back a few weeks of UA, some are not pleased with the gold and weapon codes that they handed out.

Let's think of it this way. Say, Disney gave out a code that gave everybody a Famed Weapon, a Cutlass with 80 attack, and no level restrictions. You now have an army of low leveled Unlimited Access members running around with a weapon grossly overpowered for their level, making the game laughably easy for them for a majority of their 10s, 20s, and probably far in to the 30s. As for gold, it would be the same thing. You'll have an army of level 5's walking around in bling and rich robes, not because they can boast their exploits, but because they were privileged enough to join the game at the right moment. So, Disney had to go with either making the benefits nice for some, or making the game easy for all. Which would be smarter?

Us big pirates are looking for something more than that. Especially after all the hours some of us put into recruiting... leveling.. etc... Then it all got reset back.

they should of did darkfire and a FAMED weapen for high levels that you need a high sword level for!

This is pretty funny I love my new cutlass! It's way better than anything I had on my "maxed" level 40 pirates prior to leaving this game.

I'm soooo way behind the times if I like the cutlass and everyone else is poo-pooing it hehe

Here is what is kind of ironic: A couple days ago, I was on POTCO and I saw a basic killing those gravediggers at Port Royal. Standard sight, right? Basically all of you guys are high/mastered, am i right? Well, since the non-UA dont have good swords, this is a very good sword for the basic members.
The Big D helped alot of the lower levels of the game with a good sword to have handy and some gold to help. A lot of you are yapping away that Disney isn't being fair about not giving a good weapon and a little bit of gold, etc. etc.
This was very helpful for the lower levels of this game. None of you considered that maybe this game isnt easy for some people and that these 2 codes actually helped some people.

I agree Del. But Monster got Tyrant blade. I think that beats Darkfire. I think that your level should affect to redeem code. Or a good famed WITH a level restriction.

Revenant Cannon Ram.... gone... ahh I loved the roll back! So glad I used "golden" not knowing it would give me gold to an already maxed chest! BAH!
