(G)Fast and very maneuverable.
(B)Weak, Little cargo and not much crew.

All Galleons
(G)Very strong ship, Largest Cargo of all ships.
(B)They tend to be semi slow and have no front cannons so enemys can attack better in the front.

All Frigates
(G)Strongest ship of all the ships, Nice cargo room and plenty of crew space. Has lots of cannons for diffrent situations.
(B)They tend to really slow if you turn and is most likely the slowest ship.

So far, I've found with a Sloop, I can usually outsail anything. However, with a larger ship and a good crew, I can usually blast the opposition to smithereens before I suffer much damage.
