Barrel of Rum on Rumrunner

The quest I have says to dig up a buried treasure on Rumrunners to get a barrel of rum for Duchamps. Anyone ever find it? The only buried treasure I've found doesn't do a "searching for rum" when I dig it up.

Anyone else think these random buried chests quests are annoying? I mean, are we supposed to run over every inch of an area just hoping that the specific chest we're looking for happens to be spawned at the moment we run over that spot? :9rr:

I'm on this quest right now and I can't find anywhere to dig. I agree that these quests are annoying. What exactly am I achieving by running over every inch of the beach hoping to find a green circle?

Edit: I've found two places to dig now. After four times digging in one of them, I finally got it. It's on the inlet side, if you are facing the island it's to the right of the dingy, below a dire wasp.

On a quest I was doing it stated "there will be yellow dots on your campass showing you were you can dig....then when you are there a green circle will appear" Well I get the green circles but I don't have the yellow circles. And yes I'm making sure that my "track" is on that specific quest. Anyone else see yellow circles on their compass?

No, haven't seen any yellow dots. I sent in a bug report on it with a screen shot that shows the thing about the yellow dots, and with me by a green circle. The response I received back was we need more information like who what where and when. lol I don't know how much more information they need. But I also get that response when I send in a screen shot about the differences in some of their task descriptions vs the task statement.

so that is what those yellow things are on my map!! Well, I have them and hope once I get to that part of the quest it will work and take me to where I'm suppose to dig.
