Character Info: Kraken Guard

A couple days ago, i made a little character description sheet thingy for my Pirate, Kraken Guard and wanted to share it with other Pirates on here. Might change a couple things later, just not sure what. In the mean time.. (And yes, im a Davy Jones and Jolly Roger fan :P)

Gender: Female
Eye Color: Blue
Hair: Red Braid
Clothes: Blue Bandana, Blue Shirt and Vest, Pants and Gray Boots
Ship: Sea Dragon(Sunken)
Current Residents: Isla Tormenta
Occupation: Seeking Revenge, Working along side Jolly Roger

Description
Not much is known about the Kraken Guard. Some say she is a ghost, some say she is a monster created by the legendary Davy Jones, Captain of the Flying Dutchmen while others say she is just a mere pirate. She at first was a pirate who had sunken many ships until one day when sailing through a hurricane. Her ship, The Sea Dragon, was sunk by the great storm and her crew had all drowned. It was there that Kraken Guard offered her soul to the Captain of the Flying Dutchmen. "I offer my soul to Davy Jones, Captain of the Flying Dutchmen.. For all eternity."

She has been loyal to Davy Jones ever since that day, but then she began to forget her name. She then fashioned herself a new name, one that sailers would all fear: Kraken Guard..

Many years later, Davy Jones was after Jack Sparrow due to a dept that he had to pay: Captaining the Black Pearl for thirteen years. After that, they charted a course to Isla Crucies to make sure that whatever was in the Dead Mens Chest remained there. Jack was killed by the Kraken, and the Black Pearl had been sent down to Davy Jones Locker at last. When they checked on the chest however, they saw that it was empty and it was revealed that "Lord" Cutler Beckett had the contents, and with them, control over the Captain, Davy Jones..

Kraken Guard knew that the contents of the Dead Mens Chest, The Heart of Davy Jones, was what kept the captain alive, unless the contents were destroyed which in the end, was what happened when the Captains of Flying Dutchmen and the Black Pearl dueled. A man named Will Turner had his own sword plunged into his chest, and Jack Sparrow took the heart and placed a dagger into Williem's hand and stabbed the heart..

That day, Kraken Guard swore revenge. Will Turner was the new captain of the Flying Dutchmen, But it was not him that killed Davy Jones, it was Jack Sparrow..

The Next Year, she had tried sneaking into Fort Charles. She was able to sneak into the fort but was soon captured by the Navy Soldiers and was sent to jail. The next day, before the exacution, she felt the presence of something half alive and half dead in her jail cell and was to be exacuted in three days. However just before it was time for her exacution, Jolly Roger had come to help her escape as long as she would help him find Jack Sparrow. Jolly Roger had heard that a pirate called "Kraken Guard" was sent to jail and that she used to be one of Davy Jones' crew members. Kraken Guard escaped death once again thanks to Jolly Roger. She found out that Jolly Roger was after the same thing: Revenge against Jack Sparrow. That day, the two had joined forces to find, and kill Jack Sparrow.. But how will their story end? Will they be succesful or will Jack escape yet again? Only time will tell..



So, how do you like it? Is there anything that needs tweaking? I might even make a story about her! Just not sure when. Thoughts? Opinions? Suggestions? Post away

this is a nice story, its the perfect spot on the forums to tell it. i like how it goes with the movies

Yep, belongs here, and as to why not make a story, I can't really think of a reason.

Other than this part, all's good: you can't go afearing any such pirate less than those two though. They have roots steeped in dark magics and as such--well, yeah, make for driving forces in the lore and mythology and movies and game.

She sounds like a good character though, and quite fearsome and delving in some dark stuff as well, between Davy and Jolly and what not.

Well sounds like a good story , but it has one big problem ,
Jolly Roger and the POTCO time line in based between COTB and DMC so ,
try some reworking of the story line and you can get it.
It was assured at the start of dead mans chest , Jolly Roger was long gone.

Thanks might edit the whole "One that all sailers would fear even more then davy jones or jolly roger themselves" part out. It does sound kinda iffy :P

Didn't think about that part.. it is kinda confusing though if POTCO takes place between COTB and DMC (Specificly the part with Barbossa, but we dont really know how long he was dead for. Not to mention when we had to recapture the black pearl in POTCO, when did Jack lose the ship?)

Probably do some tweaking to her information soon. That or i could just make up an excuse and say it was a "Time disorder" :P or say that Jolly Roger was still alive during and after the events of the second and third movies (Depending on if he lives at the end of POTCO or not. I hope he does! ) or let things just roll by and say "It's the work of the imagination"

Thanks I wonder who Ammo Dorsi is though? (Other then a Voodoo Witch Doctor) I dont remember him being mentioned unless i missed something in the games.

Okay, i decided to make a story which i have no clue what to title it. :S Still new to writing stories so if you find any goof-ups let me know

How long has it been, how long have i served on the Dutchmen? All i can remember was that me and me crew were caught in a hurricane. She was harsh that day, the winds were so powerful that the masts broke. One of the cannons loosened, and i was sent into the harsh cold water. I was not ready to die, so i made a pact with him, Davy Jones, to serve him for all eternity..

Davy Jones was exactly as they described: Cruel, Cunning and Ruthless. Yet something about him seemed sad. The Captain has a pipe organ that he playes most of the time, keeps us up for hours it does! yet the song that he plays, it still haunts me to this day. It shows his anger and sadness. One time when the music stopped and everyone was asleep i snuck into the captains cabin and heard the soft sound of a music box playing. I wanted to get a closer look at the the object where the music came from, but the Captain was still awake so i snuck out as fast as i could. I could have sworn that the Captain saw me. It feels like the whole ship is Davy Jones himself, eyes and ears everywhere on the Flying Dutchmen!

Every once in a while the Captain would play a different song but most of the time it was the same haunting song. Every time i heard it i would feel this pain in my heart. It was as if a ghost is crushing it. But i found myself quite fond of the song and grew used to the pain. Peaceful, yet painful..

But in the end, The Captain, Davy Jones, was killed. Killed not by Elizabeth Swan or Willium Turner, who was the son of a fellow crewmember, Bootstrap Bill Turner, but was killed by a "Captain" Jack Sparrow. Just the thought of that fool sickens me.


I write this now as the time of my death draws near. In only six hours, my life will end. I write this so that some may remember me. She who offered her soul to Davy Jones for all eternity, She who swore to avenge her Captain but was unable to do so, The one called Kraken Guard..

Kraken Guard was interupted when she felt something on her leg. She looked down and saw a snake slithering over her leg. She wondered what a snake was doing in her jail cell in the first place but put the thought aside. Instead, she smiled and picked the snake up.

"Atleast i wont be alone.." Kraken Guard began to say, but stopped as she saw the left side of the snake's face. The snake looked like any normal snake, except for the left side of it's face which was it's skull. An eye glew a sinister red as the snake stared up at the Kraken Guard.

"Ye know it is against the Pirate Code to charge in with yer Gun ablaze?" Said a sinister voice. Kraken Guard turned her head to look at her jail doors and saw a tall skeleton standing outside of her cell. A pegleg was on his left and had a strange pistol with daggers replacing his right hand. He also had long dreadlocks that seemed to be made of snake scales.

"The Pirate Code? Bah! The Kraken Guard does not abide to the Pirate Code. She does whatever she pleases, without fear or regret." The Kraken Guard replied with a venomous tone to her voice. The Undead Snake slithered out of the jail cell and to it's master. Kraken Guard then noticed that the Skeleton's dreadlocks began to make slithering movements as the Undead Snake slithered it's way up and finally under the Skeletons hat. It poked it's head out for the Skeleton to place what looked like a strange voodoo mask opon it's scaley head. When the mask was on the snakes head, it then fell limp as if it had just died. Kraken Guard then knew why the skeletons dreadlocks appeared to be made of scales: the dreadlocks were actually venomous snakes.

"Really? "Atleast i wont be alone" you said.." The Skeleton said with a laugh. Kraken Guard felt like reaching for her Pistol to teach this undead wretch not to mess with a Kraken Guard, but was utterly dissapointed when she remembered that the navy soldiers had taken her pistol away.

"Just because I says that does not mean im afraid of death!" The Kraken Guard replied with a venomous tone to her voice, then turned her back to the Skeleton.

"Very well. T'is a pity to see one die without getting their revenge on Jack Sparrow." The Skeleton replied with a sarcasticly saddened tone to his voice.

"Wait.." As the skeleton turned to walk away, he heard a reply from the Kraken Guard.

"Yes?" The Skeleton looked back at the Kraken Guard, waiting for her to continue..

Trivia
- I read on one of the *****'s that Jolly Roger's Dreadlocks were actually poisonous(Venomous!) snakes.
- The first part of the story is Kraken Guard Writing. The Ink? Pin-Pricks on her fingers, nothing to gory i hope.
