East India Company

[Commodore Larence]

While wondering around Wal-Mart the other day, I was trying to find a new game to give a try and I stumbled on one I had not heard of called "East India Company". It is for the PC, and also offers Multiplayer ship battles. If you Google the game's name they have a website with screen-shots and in game video; it actually looks pretty cool. I was wondering if any others have tried it? If so... What do you think about it?

i have watched every trailer of the game on you tube know all the ships that are going to be in it , its like a mix of a tycoon game / trade winds game / Sid Miyers pirates . It just came out the 31st and I'm saving up to get it, it features awesome graphics and sea combat that is 100x better than POTCO sailing.
It also as 12 different ship kinds all that you can sail and trade with. I would without a doubt buy it.

Is this game PC/Mac? I would like to try it, but I'm a Mac.

I am pretty sure it is PC only... The one I seen at Wal-Mart had the giant Windows logo tag and said PC-DVD I think really big on it.

Your right, it does look cool but truthfully, I haven't ever really liked the whole idea of pirates games, I just love POTCO to much to let that get in the way , it looks like a good game and I dont care if its just for PC because thats all I use! I would get those kind of games for WII but they usually fail when you try to cross console.

i grudge i had about this one is when you kill the masts they al come down at once from what ive seen but i havnt seen much yet.it reminds me a little bit like empire total war(one ive been wanting to get soon)but more with trade.
