Steelers win superbowl!!
So now y'all know why I wasn't ingame at all today.
It's insane here. Party's in the streets, people everywhere. It's about 18 degrees here, and there must be 40,000 people screaming in the streets. EDIT: They just announced that the city has closed over 100 streets to auto traffic, just due to the number of people in the streets!!! I'll see everyone tomorrow, if I can come down to earth! Grats to the Steelers for being the only 6 time Superbowl winner!

I was pulling for the Cardinals, and they played a great game, but the Steelers were the better team tonight. Hats off to them and congrats to the team and their fans on a 6th Super Bowl victory.

Congratulations to Pittsburgh and their fans. |

Same here.... though it seems so close when the Cards pulled ahead into the lead and then Pitts were going to have tto go for the tie... then those two last great thows for the TD instead... then the Cards and the fumble at the last seconds... at least it made for exciting TV

Congratulations to the Steeler's and their fans. Though I was rooting against them, the better team won.
Reasons I never root for the Steelers: 3. Dallas is 1-2 versus Pittsburgh in Super Bowl match ups. 2. I am a Dallas Cowboys fan and have been since the late 60's/early 70's. Number one reason I will never root for the Steelers: 1. My ex is from there.

Every week, I root for two teams, The Steelers and whoever is playing Dallas! I've hated the Cowboys for about as long as you have liked them. Reasons: 1.) NVM. I just wrote and deleted an entire rampage about the Cowbays, but decided better of it. Especially since most of it would have been modded out anyways! And you have that wrong, The Steelers are 2 - 1 in Superbowls over the Cowboys!!! LOL!

What do you call a drug ring in Dallas: A huddle Believe me, at this point I could write a diatribe about the Cowboys as well, but like you said most of it would be modded out!

Well, if anyone is interested in watching some craziness, go to KDKA.com ( TV station website) about noon today. The city and county are holding a welcome home parade for the Steelers.
It's going to be about 22 degrees, maybe just a little warmer, and there will probably be about 300,000 rabid fans in the streets. Some were out all night, I heard one report that people were staking out their spot as early as 1 AM. (Temps got down to the low teens last night.) I am a fan, have season tics, but I just can't be that dedicated to spend an entire night out in the cold like that!
