Interesting, I went close to the same place as nautical nattie and found a Behemoth and a Juggernaut a little farther out.
![]() Here was the lvl 40 Behemoth which only gave one cargo crate >_< ![]() Then this was the Juggernaut only a little bit away from the Behemoth. This one gave a royal chest and a cargo crate. ![]() Then here's the one I found a little later by Padres. We got murdered by all of the other ships cause the people in my ship wouldn't stop firing at them and they came after us. Still have yet to come across a Death Omen... |

just to help out, unless i missed the answer, a lot of people are complaining about the screen freeze up while fighting juggy. Here is your answer.
The Juggy has the ability to fire many many explosive rounds at one time, if they all land, which they usually do, the graphics are too rich for basic nvidia or ati graphics cards to handle. I have an alienware gaming rig and it tends to slow a bit when juggy hits me with all those explosives. I just turn the special effects lvl down to medium or low before I engage. It is the basic principle behind the lag storm in SvS. Now, add a bunch of cannons shooting firebrand to all the explosives landing, your card probably has an aneurysm or two while attempting to load it all at once. Hope this helps some of you. And a note, if you are a pirate with lots of lag to begin with, steer clear of this monster and pick him off with thunder shot, no worry bout explosive then, i mean, have you seen how little distance explosive can fly???? seen the EITC Behemoth (lvl 42) about 3 times now and just saw Navy Dreadnaught (lvl 39) four times yesterday...idk if that is even one of the rare ships btw...but yeah I saw the Juggernaut 5 times in the past week. You find it out in the Uncharted waters obviously (the outskirts of the entire ocean) near Isla Congrejous and Ile D'etable De Porc (the French island for PvP and then the one behind Tortuga that has the quest on "Skeleton Infestation"
Also, I've seen the Juggernaut way far out past Rumrunner's Isle...like in betwen Rumrunner's Isle and Cuba I guess...way far out |

LOL if you want to see any ship go behind Isla Perdida or Padres del Fuego!!!! I suggest you don't go to Padres for sure if you don't have a decent ship
Yesterday I went on my friend's war frigate and sailed around a bit and here's the list of everything we saw and sunk behind Padres and Perdida/Cuba: - x3 EITC Behemoth (level 40 war galleon) - x4 Navy Colossus (level 35, 36 war galleon) - x2 Navy Predator (level 33 War sloop) - x4 Death Omen (level 42, 43 War Frigate) - x11 Navy Dreadnought (level 38-40 war frigate) - x1 EITC Warlord (level 33 war frigate) - x5 EITC Ogre (level 30-33 War galleon) -x1? EITC Crossair (we aren't sure if we saw one and we didnt persue it) lol we came back with all royal chests and treasure chests in cargo and the ship had less than 1000 hull left but it was fun! Happy sailing! |

Indicated on this map are approximations of where my ship was when I spotted juggys, DOs or behemoths.

Thanks. But I never could have done it if someone wasn't bright enough to paste together a blank map (from cutting-and pasting a couple dozen screen captures of different MAP areas.) Don't remember who did the first one, but thank you. And thank you Maximvs, for this version (after they moved Cuba.)

Well, since I started this thread, I might as well add to it a bit now.
While the map shows basically all the places to find the Death Omens, Juggy, and Behemoths, (BTW, nice work on the map to whoever made it, and thanks to Ed for posting it ) I just want to add afew more spots. East of the area half way between KH and PDF (basically East of the title on the map "The Hinterseas") in Uncharted Waters, I tend to find Death Omens, and on 2 rare occassions, I found Juggys. And.......... Almost exactly West of Cuba, I have found a few Behemoths and Death Omens. |

OK, I added some dots there, on it. And yes, I put the dots on the Max' map, where I found them. Mostly that bottom left corner. (Actually, a much greater proportion of them have been down there in the bottom left where all those lines intersect. But I didn't want it to look like a red splotch.)

Noticing today, while making yet-another-map (for something completely different,) that very-quiet servers tend to have a juggy/death omen/behemoth at each spawn spot. I'm sailing a lap right now around Battira ocean - not even half-way around so far - and I've seen 6 so far.
Might be because they take two to three hours to re-spawn. But once they re-spawn, they gradually move closer in from the edge of the map, then circle indefinitely. |
