A guide to finding Famed Weapons...

If your looking for famed (regular) blades, i suggest fighting undead. The EITC and ghosts give good famed guns and actually give out full moon special weapons alot. Dolls seem to come from anywhere, and i havent found a strategy for finding knives and daggers yet.

I have had my best luck when in groups, and many have had great luck while in group with me. I believe it has to do with the fact that when a skull chest appears, it is not just one chest, but an individual chest for each pirate attacking, thus increasing the chance that a famed or legendary will be in one of the chests. It is the same with bosses, and non boss enemies alike.
