Have you done all the Weapon Quests?

None have been offered to me. Where do I get them?
Does anything happen when I hit 40th lvl? I was almost there when my time ran out, and I wasn't sure if it was worth it to pay for another month. Still, I would like to hit 50 Rep, but not by drudgery. Crimson Rose |

Ahhhh...
Well, you need to gain experience using those particular weapons at level 15 and level 20. So keep slashing and shooting those enemies. Change it up too and learn what certain skills have to offer you as you gain more experience. It's really fun. Had a blast last night using grenades along with throwing daggers at Kingshead. Have you also done the other two quests at the Tailor shop at Port Royal and Tortuga? How about that Caribbean Quest at the Shipwright? Now that Infamy is the norm, you stand a good chance of getting a badge. And no, nothing happens when you reach level 40. You just get more health and strength all around. And I disagree with you, there's no such thing as drudgery getting to level 50. Heck my first pirate is still at Notoriety 48. I know. Why? Because I like taking my sweet time. I enjoy seeing that golden glow whenever my pirate achieves something. And when my Unlimited Access expires, not a problem for me. Being Basic locks my Notoriety in place and I can go absolutely wild beating those enemies. Having Unlimited though is allowing me to spend time with my other pirates to make them stronger. Each one masters something in particular as they pursue the Black Pearl quest. And as with any game, random occurrences happen often which makes things even more fun. At least for me.

I spent an hour this morning with some pirate friends taking out General Darkhart over and over again. I leveled up myself, my staff and my doll. However it was more like work that fun.
At one point everyone went off for various reasons without telling me, and I was left picking a fight with the Gen and discovering I had no support. So I dealt with him myself. Crimson Rose is getting pretty strong! Then I found his weakness. I hit him with a fiery skull, at which point he threw daggers at me. Then I switched to grenades, and he pulled out his sword and ... just stood there! I grenaded him to death several times before my friends started trickling back. The funny thing was I got less rep taking him out myself than I did as part of a crew. What's wrong with this picture? Crimson Rose |

There's nothing wrong with that picture. In a crew you've got crew bonus and by yourself you don't...

To my way of thinking, it's a lot harder to take the guy out by myself than when I have help. If I get 100% rep for taking him out myself, then I should probably get about 60% if there are two of us - not 120% - and 40% if there are three of us, etc. Note the crew bonus.
Of course, I'm not really complaining .... Crimson Rose
