Allies?

I have yet to see any 'benefit' or purpose behind guild's creating "allies" etc within the game, since guilds do not even compete against each other, scores would never be combined, etc. There are no battles between guilds, no wars, and all pirates tend to be friends overall.. so im curious, whats the point?

That being said, I would also have to agree with Mlratto, and Mercedes.

I think that some people just dont 'get' the guild thing in the first place.
Similar to posting in forums, some think its all about numbers.
Quality is WAY more important than quantity.

Its not about numbers, its not about skills, its not about ability, its almost ALWAYS about personality.

Plus my observation has been most adult players will also want to play around adults.
