Do you think Desolation is useless?

Aint exactly that useless.I used it and took out 3 raiders in 1 shot(25% damage and maxed it).Sure, it may hurt you badly, but it still does a good job.Granted, its better to use flaming skull. Cause flaming skull has almost the same range as whither, and can be shot far across.But thats just me.

Complete uselessness? No, it looks neat, it 'does' do damage against enemies.

Effectiveness in battle? Near a zero rating, it takes too long to charge, and seldom actually kills any enemies (usually takes them down a percentage of thier health, along with yours). Sure you may have made it work for you, but you chose one of the least efficient ways to achieve your goal, killing 3 raiders. Flaming skull would work in this case alot faster/easier.

The length of time it takes to charge really DOES make it useless in battle.

If "I" put 5 points on this matey, id be bribing POTCO to put reassignment on live, because id consider my pirate's staff points really messed up.
