Absolutely! Before they even mess with the glitches/bugs, they must work on the lag that is killing us!! Since the bug that you can't even log in is solved.

No. (1) Disney should first make sure people are not having installation errors and tutorial problems.
(2) Then work on making sure all game-breaking bugs are gone.
(3) Then see to it all quests can be finished, all items found correctly.
(4) THEN work on making the game run faster. (3 and 4 can be switched around, it's hard to say..)

No i think fixing crashes and bugs as first priorty. This is coding, and obviously need tweakling and correcting.

Although its laggy, i think this is more to fact of server size, and not a coding thing per say.

I think lag will lesson when they run full servers.

I agree with that in a way, and dissagree with that in a way. Here is why I disagree:

1). Most problems of logging in is a problem with your computer not theirs, the first main problem is checking a fire wall to allow piratesonline.com to be permited.
2). They are losing people that can play the game because of lag. I've seen people say, "I'm qutting because of this dumb lag!!"
3). Bugs/glitches big woop you can't see many of them because of the lag. The bugs aren't that big.

But I do agree that some people can't get in because of pirates online team, but most are because of their computer for many different reasons.

Yes...They need to work on lag the most. I just tried logging in, and as soon as I got in, I couldn't even move it was that bad.

I know this is beta, but they need to fix the lag or we won't be able to fully test the game with all this lag.

I couldn't of said it better myself. If we are the beta testers we need to be able to play the games to see what needs imroving or fixing. If their is lag we can't test the rest of the game.

(1) Hmm.. firewalls can be easily disabled. The Game Closing Abnormally is Disney's bug, not mine.
(2) But, yes, people are leaving because of lag.
(3) But then again I disagree with you on the third point. It's not much fun to have your ship disappear and when you go to a dockmaster have it say it's already deployed. And it doesn't ever come, so you're stuck on Rumrunner's Isle or something. OR having Will bug up so you can never leave the Blacksmith and never getyour sword? Or having Barbossa never move, or have your boat fly into a black abyss, or having your money revert back to zero every time you log on?

When were you experiencing this? After dinner? Then that's yer problem. I play all day and PotCO is great during lunch, but gets unbearable when school ends. -_-

Lag needs to be fixed, yes, but I've gone through seven characters, all bugged up before I even met Mister Gibbs in Tortuga.

Yup, exactly when. Around dinner time, there is no way I'll ever be able to play until they fix the lag. That is the good thing about the morning though.

I don't have that problem and don't see ppl having that problem. But, when your ship dissapears from the dock, it's not a bug. You need to move your ship out quick enough, or it says, you didn't part the dock in time. Sometmies, it does take a while for the ship to come to the dock, but it does in like ten seconds. I've never seen people with that probleml maybe its just yours? I'm not trying to be mean here.

Lol people are leaving beacuse of the lag.

Well how stupid are they then....? THIS IS BETA, they are beta testers!

They are here to assist disneys devs in correcting bugs, yes it is very laggy, and this does spoil the enjoyment of the game.

But hold on, are they paying monthly subs, no.. This is not even a finished product and its on testing servers, things like this are part of the norm.

If they leave now, and say i'm not gonna be back for launch cause its laggy, then how stupid are they..

There are a lot things to sort out, and altho there seems to be lots or rumours about this being close to launch, i would not take anything for granted.

Whatever disney may of said about when its going to launch, i wuldnt take much notice of it, they will say things, but know, that it has to right when they launch, or they will get slaughtered by the competition, it has to be right, and they will take their time to get it there.

Like most testing periods, it takes as long as it takes, and i think its still fairly early days for testing TBH.

If its lag that everybody is most worried about, think about this, what if this is one big lag stress test, and they be running minimal servers just to test results.

Lets not forget we are their guinea pigs, and they can put us through whatever they want in order to get data they need.

I know one thing, i'll be around still for launch, ready and waiting to play all over again for real and proper.

It's not that simple. My boat is on Rumrunner. I died on Rumrunner. I am at Tortuga now. I try to get my boat out, it says "it is already deployed". I 'return' it, and try again. "It is already deployed" it says. My boat is now in it's bottle, but I cannot get it out. I transport to Port Royal and try, and fail. Computer crashes. I get on try again. Nope.

We are here to test BUGS. We are not here to actually play as if this is a finished project. We are here to test the game's limits, to find errors and inform Disney Online about them. If it gets laggy at prime time, that is not a bug. Many people are playing.

I say that they should correct errors then work on getting the game's speed up to par with any regular MMOG. What's the point of being able to walk around if quests will continually just not drop or appear? If you start falling into the ground?

I can deal with lag since this is beta. I have a harder time dealing with the bugs like not being able to get out of the water and swimming under islands. Or going through caves and have some left over water from the scene before.

The bugs definately need to be fixed so they have a complete game. Once they have a complete game the lag issue should be an easy fix.

Well, in the case your saying, I still understand what you mean but if there is so much lag... then how can you find the bugs with the games?

Yes the lag is A LOT BETTER but before it wasn't so I couldn't report too many bugs because I couldn't do much. Do you understand what I'm getting at? I'm not trying to be mean. I do agree with your ideas except we can't test them until the lag is gone. I've sent a few things in when i don't have lag.

But your bug is something i've never seen lol. I've asked people today on that bug and they haven't had it they only have problems leaving the dock on time. Maybe I'm not talking to the right people maybe. I can't be 100% sure this happens to a lot of ppl. But the game isn't on all on the sea. Also you could always buy and use another ship. Also, report it if you haven't already, and they might fix it on the next big upgrade on the bugs. Again, not trying to be mean hope you understand my side, because I understand yours.

Red Bull, I get what your saying as well, but if we are the "guinea pigs" how can we test it and how can they know what to do to help fix the bugs if we have so much bad lag that we can't test it? Again, not trying to be mean.

Again, the lag is much much better, just after a hour or so now, it gets very bad lag, but at least it's better and we can say what bugs there are.
