Eye Patches?

A fine Idea. It seems like D gets into it too much, they miss the basics of pirates, like eye patches, and parrots, lol

Correct me if I am wrong but if my memory serves me correct I believe that here is a list of all sterotypical pirate items Disney included or refrained from including in their POtC movies. Mind you I haven't watched them in a while so if anyone wants to correct the list, feel free:

1x Eye Patch (along with 1x Glass Eye)
0x Peg Legs
0x Hooks for Hands
1x Parrot (other pets include 1x Monkey and 1x Dog I believe...in At World's End)

So it seems that eye patches and a pet for your pirate would be consistant with the movie's flavor but I wouldn't see what peg legs and hooks couldn't be just a little added seasoning .

Also, I totally forgot about the whole "voodoo" reattaching of a leg possibility. Guess it could work if you ever decided that your wodden peg has became a little warped .
