Can't get to my ship...

lol it's quiet funny. The island in which Barbossa is on, the one you have to go on to work on the fame quest, it's very bugged. The entire map is messed up. Here is proof...

I blanked out my character for Disney's sake. If you look behind my compass at the top right, that is my boat. I am actually UNDER the island lol.

This happens to me every time I try to return to my ship from Devil's Anvil. I have sent them reports from each of the 6 or 7 pirates I have created so far.
I have learned to just return my ship and teleport on to Tortuga to complete this quest.
I thought perhaps it was a "glitch" r/t my graphics card it is so consistent. Glad to see I am not alone in outer space.

I got a better one for you. I can get on the ship, I just can't sail it sometimes. When I go to the helm on my galleon, i walk through the walls and in the air. I can air walk all the way to Tortuga. There are times when I walk on the sea floor, so I grab my map and either teleport (usually DC at this point) or go to another sea and try again. It is frustrating sometimes, especially when you get a crew together and they can board your ship but you can't.

This is happening to me. I can sail my sloup (but who wants to?) but can't step up to the helm on my galleon. Changing seas worked for you? It seems I disco about every other time that I teleport to something.

i had a ship that got bugged that i couldn't sail. everytime i tried to board, i wouldnt drop down on the deck.

i gave up, sold the ship and bought a new one!

Myself and a few other players were all experiencing a similar bug, and were discussing it on the dock of Port Royal.

I cannot deploy my ship from the dock or from the water. There is no way for me to sail at all. I have been trapped on land for several days now, just hoping that they fix the bug. What is a pirate to do when they are trapped on land? Arrrggg!

I have experienced some lag waiting on the ship to arrive on the dock in Port Royal. I have found that if I teleport to Tortuga, then I can get the towns person / dockworker to get my ship for me. This almost always works. Still can't get to the top deck of the light frigate for cannons.

Also, if you go island hopping, especially the smaller one, be careful, you may get off the boat, but not able to get back on again. Just remember to teleport elsewhere and again ask a dockworker to bring your boat. Some of the islands, I couldn't get off the boat even when docked.

That happened to me too and I just teleported to Port Royal, picked up my ship and went to where I was supposed to go.

I had different versions of this happen to me. I kept falling through my Sloop but could jump back onto it. But I did end up falling underneath Tortuga once, had to close out the game.

...what's really sad though, I had no idea I could teleport! I visited each island by ship first! Argh! Thank the rum makers there's this forum and I picked up that I could do it!!

Same happened to me, twice. I logged, not knowing I could teleport. But teleportation seems to be a good option any time you get in a jam. :-D
