New update coming soon?

now I dont come to this board very often so I havent read anything about this, but today I saw a ghost ship from land , I have never seen this before and I dont know what to think if its old or known or if its a glitch or that it means a new update is coming soon heres the image i was able to get

yeah it does, i was swiming in Tortuga's cove when i saw it

I see ships off shore ALL the time. It's a bug. See Here :

As for an update, there's supposed to be one this summer.

I see the ships all the time from shore now. If they are close.
It actually let me swim to one once, but they are usually beyond the high seas barrier (tells ya you need a ship to go further).

I enjoyed seeing the ships battle from shore. It's kinda like the old beta days when the ships could come right up to the dock. (Some went past the dock and sailed right through the islands, but...)
It must be a glitch because it only happens once in a while.

I'll tell you an AWESOME glitch I saw the other day - was out sailing with some friends, trying to knock off some of my EITC ships for cutlass, when WAY off in the horizon I could see a battle between what had to be a skelly and a pirate , but all I could see was the thunderbolts. Looked like a storm was coming off in the horizon. Was SO cool.

I've seen ships off shore several times now, too. It's fun to see a friend get to their boat and set sail.

I've had another interesting glitch happen, too. One time, I tp'd to a friend's ship to help him, and showed up OFF the starboard side about 10 feet over the air. It was SO funny! I had to tp again to actually get ON the ship to help him! Another time, something similar happened. I was shooting a cannon, and went to switch sides. I ended up floating off the SB again. Doesn't help much when the ship's under attack!
