Should I have gotten Take Cover?

Gee - no I'm second guessing myself...

My first pirate has take cover - and I found it didn't do squat. I'd use it - still take too much damage and thought 'I should of went with Ramming Speed'....

So now on the second pirate with the Boss Battle - and with the 'updates' making it crazy I'm beginning to wonder if I should of taken that this time around. I still have a few points to go on the second chap - so I could take it if I want it... but... the first time I used it I just found that sailing skill was a way better option.

If it wasn't for the Boss Battle hassles we've been having I don't think I would still consider it... maybe I'll save the last point - just in case

I'm having the same thoughts, I still have a few levels before mastering and I have severl points waiting to be spent but I feel unsure on what I should spend them on.
