New Story for POForums

Ahoy pirates!

Even though my main story Glory of the Forsaken (which has been renamed to the tradintional title Those Condemned to Freedom for sentimental reasons) has moved to another part of the Caribbean so it can blossom as a full creative motif of mine, I have missed being able to share stories and tales with my fellow pirates here on Pirates Online Forums. Because of this, I have decided to release a new story on my blog strictly for POF members, as a way of keep myself contributing to the creative atmosphere of the forums.

Unlike many of my previous stories here on the forums, there will be many differences to my previous works than before:

• The story will be hosted on my blog in varying installments. Because I have another, much larger story that I write, and may lose track of when I can write this one, it will be hosted on my blog so I can essentially update it "whenever." Sometimes I will update it numerous times in one day - other times, I may not update it for a week or so. It all depends on when I have time.
• The story will be in the form of a journal. This takes it back to the original style that I used on the forums, as well as the form of writing that many pirates used to use on the forums many years ago. It's also much simpler to write with, so it's a good way for it to not be so much of a pressure when writing.
• Installments of the story will be short and easy to read. Unlike my current main story, which most of the time ends up being 30 pages per chapter (though the last one surpassed forty) and is extremely descriptive and detailed, I wanted to not make this one as much of a burden. So, pirates will not have to worry about me going on creative tangents or looking for their dictionaries; all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the story.
• The main character is NOT Delmaria Darkskull. Not only has Del been the subject of every single one of my stories, but he is the main character of my current story, and probably for every primary story I will ever write. Because of this, I wanted to explore some more and go with a new, fresh-faced character who the Caribbean hasn't spent the past few years getting to know every feature of (not to mention, it would be odd writing two stories about the same person at once.) Learning more about this character is going to be like a blank slate, and it's time for him to find his place in the Caribbean (though numerous cameos by Delmaria can obviously be expected )
• This story will be based off of what my pirate does in-game. How this character interacts with the Caribbean in-game will then be taken and dramatized to fit the story; essentially, the majority of this story will be influenced by not only the Caribbean, but by it's players.
