Journey of the Last of the Bladebearers Chapter 3

From now on, I'm changing the title from The Epic Failers to that.

Chapter 3: The Black Coated Man

Jack and Mark ran out of the woods and into the empty land. They were still exhausted from all the running. Sometimes they wondered when they weren't in trouble.

Jack said, "Where's all the resources? We need them to survive."

A strange voice replied back, "Resources? Why do you need that?"

A black coated man stepped out of a black hole.

"You're doing well... but, can you survive by fighting?"

Mark and Jack drew their swords. They were not about to die yet.

"....Those are your weapons? Pathetic...." He raised his arms into the air and summoned strange creatures that were black and looked like shadows. "You're the last of the Bladebearers? Hmph... then you should be able to survive this. After all, your father was so protective, you probably couldn't even fight."

Jack said, "...What? You know my father? I thought he was dead already!"

The black coated man replied, "He is.. but, you think you know him? Obviously, you don't." The black coated man then disappeared into the shadows mysteriously.

Strange blades appeared in the boys' hands. The end of Jack's blade was shaped as big, round mice ears. Mark's was shaped as a hammer.

The mysterious black creatures swarmed at Mark and Jack.

Jack took a first slash at a creature, and it immediately dissolved into darkness.
Mark did a sweep with his blade and wiped out three creatures. But, the amount of creatures were infinite! Mark and Jack were just about to fall, when the same man that rescued the boys before appeared.

He raised his blade into the air and immediately blinding light shone from it. When it disappeared the creatures were gone.

The man introduced himself. "My name is Gastro. I am one of the last of the Bladebearers." Jack and Mark chuckled at his name. "What? My name isn't that funny, you know?" Jack and Mark said, "Will you help us?" Gastro then said, "Of course! First, we have to get to Delmaria Darkskull. He knows exactly what we should do."
