Ya... SvS quests are very dull, minus the "Caribbean Struggle" one, which only requires you to sink two ships in SvS. The ones that require you to gain 1000 infamy without sinking or whatever are... well... I don't really know what they're like because they seem so boring that I've never attempted them!
 At least the lore quests have some interesting story behind them.
