Chapter 5: A New Crew

“Christopher! We ha-“

“Captain Christopher” Interrupted Christopher.

“Aye, Captain Christopher, we have killed the rest of the crew, looks like the mutiny was a success” Said the sailor

“That’s more like it! Go rally the others, Mr…. your name again?” Asked Christopher.

“Roger” Responded Roger.

“Roger, aye? Reminds me of a mop…, go rally the others, mop”

“Aye sir, MEN! Get over here!”

“Aye sir?” Asked the mutineers.

“Since its only the four of us, there is no way we can attack the navy fleet”

“Navy fleet?” Asked the sailors.

“Aye, this means we are in need of more crew members”

“What do think we should do?” Asked Roger.

“Tortuga” Responded Christopher.

“I heard the Navy is there, they are searching for something or someone.” Said a sailor.

“Well then, where should we go?” Ask Christopher

“We could head to Port Royal, the most of the navy headed to Tortuga. So this means most of them aren’t at Port Royal. Most of the pirates of Tortuga already fled to Port Royal” Recommended Roger.

“Alright then” Agreed Christopher, “Let’s go”

“Alright, are about 20 miles away, setting sail at 12 knots” Reported Roger.

“Alright men, lets head back to that same tavern and recruit at least 10 more pirates. Roger, I’ll put you in charge of keeping track of how many men we are recruiting.” Said Christopher. “Roger, how many more miles left?”

“Land ho!” Shouted Roger.

“That must mean we’re here” Said Christopher. “Ok men, get the dinghy ready.”

Roger and the other sailors brought the dinghy down to the water. They all hoped on board and rowed their way to Tortuga.

“Ok men, meet up at Kings Arm.” Ordered Christopher.

“Aye aye, Captain” Responded the sailors.

The four men walked through the sandy beach, stepping on seaweed as they walked. Soon, they reached Kings Arm and Set up a stand to recruit people. Within minutes, people started lining up.

“Why do you think you are worthy of sailing on the Golden Goliath.” Asked Roger.

“I killed five zombies with one hand.” Stated the man.

“Zombies, eh? Welcome to the crew” Responded Roger.

After interviewing some other pirates, Roger reported the names of pirates who signed up.

“Phillip Green, Andrew Sawyer, James Swift, Will Roberts, Bill Hall, Johnny Appleseed, and David Rogerskull.” Reported Roger.

“Sounds good, tell them we are setting sail in an hour.”
