I just server jump and problem solved.
I can't be bothered squabbling with children.
I have a group of friends that I enjoy playing with, and guildmates to lend a hand to or get a hand lent from, and that's all I need.
If someone gets in your face, leeches your rep, blocks your boat etc. just server jump.

Also as a rule, if I tp to someone I always ask if I can tag along, or should I go. That way there's no hard feelings.

One thing that bothers me that mustn't bother many is how all these people get high-and-mighty when they're leveling. Like they own that section of the game. Who cares really? Well, you people do. Too many people take this game too seriously and seem to be all caught up in themselves and they're bothered too easily by the nuances of others. Get over yourselves and get over them.

"Blah, blah, blah, I was leveling and someone showed up and hit the enemies, blah, blah, blah..." So you were close to leveling-up again after staying in one place for over an hour....big deal, you'd just have to stay there a little longer or go somewhere else if your that worried about it. You play into there hands when you talk back to them. I mean, would you like someone sounding like your mom when your playing an online pirate game (i.e. "can't we be civil" I asked nicely).

Sorry...I just don't like the amount of whining on these boards just because you're playing a kids game and expect everyone to act mature.

is this typical guild behavior? in my guild if one of us were to act like that we'd try to calm them down, NOT blindly defend them simply because they're in our guild.

Y'arg...it like ye forgot your playin' a pirate game me las....pirate guilds stick together through thick or thin....arrrr....what make ye think that just cause you stated something, that others shall believe it as truth?!

No offense, but you must be a lower lvl pirate, where leveling comes easy. Sure, you can go leech off other peoples reps but when you have to gain 40K reps just to lvl one lvl!!! Lets see how you feel when your reps go from 100 to 20. Now you have to work 5 times harder to get those reps you were getting when you werent being leeched off of.

I understand this game is based for 10 y/o+, but as my mom always taught me: "Do unto others as u would want to be done unto". Plain and simple. If you dont want others leeching off you, then dont do it yourself.

Here's an example from yesterday. I was working on a quiet server to master my Grenades. Goin fine for an hr or so sailing back and forth. Gettin good reps built up and here comes 2 guys. They start staffing the stumps I'm workin on (theres 2 more on the other side). I asked them nicely to stop. I whispered it even. I offered to switch off, and alternate with healin them and they vice versa. Nothing in return. So I brought out my strongest grenades, and proceeded to kill the stumps in 4 throws giving them a max of 10 reps . Needless to say after about 5 times, they left.
