just found some old videos of the old ship launcher on YouTube, that looks awesome!
I wish they could bring some of it back, but the obvious drawbacks of having the ships and land-based pirates on the same interaction map must be extremely taxing on the servers.... Last edited by Brain; 04-30-2011 at 05:12 PM.. Reason: Removed outside link |

Check the 2:00 mark for the ship launching Just watched it. Looked incredible... however I have been playing since December of '07, and I remember none of that. I'm fairly certain that the health/voodoo key was always at the top and chat was at the bottom (they were flipped in the video). Also, I don't remember that type of ship launching, although it looks REALLY cool. This leads me to believe that this was game play from literally the first month of the live servers, or some time in the beta testing. Either way, very cool.
