When I swung back to my ship, I discovered it was only 2 Ferrets and a Bulwark, which a I took out in one long "double-S" tack back toward Port Royal, plus 2 left broadsides and a right broadside.

yea the bolded i too noticed once an enemy ship appears on my radar it is near broadside range.

also interesting i would think it is a bug but who knows with this game it may or may not be a bug but it sounds cool
