Cannon Ammo

I'm wondering which cannon ammo is best? I have bought the chain ammo (mistake, but only 1 pt), Fireball, and Lightning. I do have a ways to go and would like opinions on where to spend the last 12 pts I'll be earning. I am going to skip explosive; I've read it's short range. I was wondering if the Lvl 20 unlock is any good.

seems like maxxed lightning still beats maxxed fury for range and outright power,
the difference with fury is you get a three round burst, unlike lightning which is a single shot.

reminds me of the firebrands basically in range and firing technique, but a stronger base damage.

I think I'll max out lightning and Firebrand and not bother with Fury. I'm a good enough shot that I can kill most things w/ lightning before they get into range to shoot me

Maxed Lightning and Maxed Fury are the best. One dot Firebrand is useful though.

Lightning and fury all the way. One point in fire is good though. Wish I would've never put that point in chain and explosive (peer pressure is bad)

Yep lightning and fury maxed (although i'm always blinded by fury!! LOL) I did buy the explosive one but what a waste. Even when i've used it I couldn't see any difference in the strike power and it takes AGES for the meter to refil. DON'T buy it!
