Like POTCO, another game is going through the same thing in terms of years out now...that game being Team Fortress 2...what they did was release a badge of honor of sorts which came in 3 types: gold being for those that were playing the game since the beginning, a silver and then a bronze...I have the gold which denotes me being a "grizzled veteran"...

Now mind you Valve and Steam track these sorts of things in regards to their players...I'm sure Big D also could look up when a Pirate first started out and do something similiar if they truly wanted to...a gold for 3 years, a silver for 2 years and bronze if ye been playing for just a year...

Many such as myself did start playing right after the cut-off for the Founders...recognition could be a nice thing because it would let others know we've been through the catacombs and caverns, we've sailed the seas and pirated eevery island, etc...thus if they should ever need help on a quest or just some advice on leveling, along with the Founders we "veterans" could also be there to help them out...we do anyways but a badge or even a nice Pirate outfit exclusive to veterans would be nice...
