I earn money mostly by randomely defeating enemies. (I'm more of a landlubber) A good way to earn money though is to gather a crew, and plunder the seas.

Yea, and you can't really go on my ship, as it's a little, tensy, wensy, tinyrific, light sloop. But when I am on, I earn about 1/3000 a day...pretty sad. But that's just right now.

On TOPIC: Don't spend unless needed! Don't buy ammo if you can deal with the regular cannonballs and the lead shot. Don't use your grenade if you have it unless you don't mind spending money to use it.
