Dangerous Daggers - July 28, 2010

This update should be HUGE! ..... Well, pretty big haha. Fishing (dont care that much about, but should be fun), NEW ISLANDS!!! errr.... island ( no s ), and now some daggers!!! Sweeet!!!

I feel like they're holding out on staffs for something nice and voodoo related. Something that involves Sandra Tew and Tia Dalma that goes along with Disney's love of role playing.

Can't wait for all of this, and im crossing my fingers about what Del said:

Hint hint, last Thursday is when they announced Unlimited Access weekend. And according to The Pirate Of Wisdom (Dog Firestack, hehe) Thursday are indeed update days. Fingers crossed!

This might mean that soon El Patron's Lost Sword will not be the only Legendary weapon in-game anymore. That reminds me, I need to work on levling up my dagger.

My friend said this guy found two new daggers, one was common, and the other was rare. He didn't tell me what the common dagger was called, but he did tell me the rare one was called a Golden Dagger. Can this be the start of the deadly daggers?

I don't think they've added them yet.. there hasn't been an update.

Yeah, they haven't released them yet. If they did then we would've seen it in the released notes or Disney would've mentioned it being in test in the news article. What they're doing right now is throwing us a bone just to make our mouths water.

IF these are just weapon drops, then they don't have to release anything to test or even give an update. They just shorten the swords, give them a new name, and call them daggers.

They may already be out there in some small quantities.

I refer back to a (Almost) 2 year old post: What good are 'new', more powerful weapons, if there isn't anything to use them on? For those still levelling, a more powerful weapon will slow down your levelling because you do more damage and get less rep. For those who are high level, there is nothing to use the new weapon on.

Disney has turned the game into nothing more than, "see who can be the first to get a full collection of worthless junk." NOTHING they have added to the game this year, or even last year, has added to the game experience. Most of the new stuff has actually detracted from the game. What used to be a game that involved groups working together to achieve a goal, has turned into every person playing alone. Potions = playing solo. Fishing = playing solo.

Until there are new QUESTS, and a major storyline, everything they put in the game is just so much fluff.

Not a chance, we don't look for scenery on current islands, we look for new islands that have deadly enemies on them.

There are more weapons in the game than you already know. They're just unobtainable at the moment (I think).
