What was your reasoning behiend naming your first pirate?

I just chose a name beginning with S that is uncommon where I live, and got Sven. Then I noticed the O' and wanted to include it. I don't know why I chose smythe though.

After many months, someone pointed out that the initials were SOS. So I ended up making a name that unintentionally contained a nice nickname

Then the Sven name just kinda stuck, which led to Sven Daggershot (reference to old guild), Sven, and Shadow of Sven (a pirate made when I returned to a guild, and included the SOS).
