New Shrouded Islands have suddenly risen from the seas!

Personally, I wouldn't mind if the "shrouded islands" appearing were actually the original Port Royal, Tortuga, Padres coming back for temporary (nostalgic) visits.

That's something I personally wanted to hear someone say. It's a great possible guess, and I would be seriously glad if Disney did this - I'd be spending more time THERE than I would at Tormenta Cave most definitely. I personally liked the older islands better than the new ones.

In fact, if I were a Disney Designer, I would make one of the islands a kind of "parallel universe" island, where you go back in time to the old days of POTCO - kind of like a "Back In Mah Day" mode - and there would be all the gaming mechanics of the old POTCO, such as the sailing timer, no X-Marks-The-Spot, huge Goliath War Frigate, and other things. But keep the lag out...

Whatever the purpose of the islands, we'll soon see them...

That'd be... unproductive in my opinion.

If they changed things, they changed them for a reason, and to have an island to go back to before the changes seems... useless.

Also, this whole talk about islands being on the test server, no. Maybe on the developers own server for testing, but not on the regular test server.

(P.S. Member services for asking about new content isn't going to help much. They usually say something that can be interpreted in hundreds of different ways.)
