I really hate being a thief of joy here. But the wild speculation on the Kraken is getting just plain silly.

The letter from Disney in the OP only said one thing. Let me translate.

I mean everybody wants to fight the kraken like in the Open server and i
hope we dont have to work to fight the kraken cause that would REALLY
stonk if we had to do a quest to fight it.

It would stonk if we had to do a quest? I am having problems with this. If the big, smelly squid-thing DOES show up? it had BETTER be a part of a long, arduous, thrill-packed, non-stop, action-filled, joy ride of a new quest. Otherwise? The Kraken is Dead On Arrival.

I think that everyone is just going to get bored after a while of it. I do want the Kraken to come out, but I don't want Disney to rush it. If they rush it, then it's going to be full of gliches and won't be fun.
